Yesterday was not a great eating day for me. Today we’ll celebrate Nick’s birthday with brunch out. My plan is to increase my calorie goal to 2300 so that I can enjoy my meal but still maintain some semblance of control for the rest of the day. I had lunch with a friend, and jeans that were once loose now fit with not much room to spare. I have to somehow get these few pounds off. I spent about 90 minutes cleaning and organizing my closet, and now the back of my car is filled with bags for the donation center. It’s such a great feeling.
Nancy, the book on eating more plant foods intrigued me. I’m hoping I like the recipes more than you did; I ordered the book and it will be here tomorrow.

C134D9 - last meal 10:00 PM, waiting for 10 AM this morning to have my premier cafe latte shake. Then the singles dine in at 1 PM which I'm looking forward to. I've been paying no attention to eating rules during the days but was more than happy with 143 this morning.
Jan - You'll probably love the recipes cuz you're already vegan and like beans. I'm anxious to get the rest of the unhealthy food out of the house. No more ice cream sandwiches, so that's a start. Still lotsa Nutrisystem to get thru. Also more noodle soup. Slowly but surely. The beef stew is yummy. Trying to think what else I can make when that's done. I was thinking maybe the Lightened up Broccoli Cheese Soup and maybe the mushu - remember that?
First meal actually 11:00 AM - just a premier shake.

Fun time dress shopping! Happy to find a few nice choices. Size wise was between 8 or 10 depending on style…..I purchased one, that can be returned, since it was my favorite so far, fit great and loved the color. I’ll probably go out at least one more time to be sure….It felt great trying all the gowns on and feeling good in them!
Today DH and I (maybe Mom) might check out a new 55+ community in our area. They’re having an open house and I want to be noisy…..see the layouts, what’s included and what price they’re going for….maybe get some decorating ideas….
Jan, enjoy celebrating Nick’s birthday! Brunch is always hard for me….I want to try everything and there are always so many choices…..staying in control is a great goal!
Nancy, Sounds like you’re enjoying your new eating window! What are your eating rules? Just curious…..I was very happy this morning that the scale is the same as before our 2 night get away! It’s so much easier when I’m able to just continue on with my regular eating….and so much harder, when I have to undo a binge before I can move forward……
Kathy, Awesome that you can have some treats and stay in your goal range!!! Do you find it easier or harder to go back to your “normal”TRE after treats??? Just curious???
Meg, Feeling stronger is music to my ears!!! That’s a Hugh improvement!!
Nothing special going on this week so looking forward to a strong week!

Lori - Have you thought about shoes? That's always my problem as I can no longer wear (or dance in) high heels. It's why I choose loose pants so I can wear sandals. At the moment I have no rules other than the fast. Today I had my premier shake, then the lunch at the dine in and I'm about to have a bowl of Lipton's chicken soup (extra noodles) and probably a salad later or something else in between and a chocolate something or other before bed with a glass of milk. I plan to no longer count calories. I tend now to wait 2 hours in between eating and may in time change that to 3 hours. Mostly I want to get everything our of the house except whole foods but that will take a while.
