Healthi caters to the iPhone and I don't have one. I noticed the update, felt something was off, went to the chat boards on Facebook that Healthi has in place and found that people are complaining. The issue that is biggest for me is that the macros (protein, fat, carbs, calories) are no longer accurate if you change the serving size of the food eaten. So, if I eat a full portion as written, less or more...calories and other macros only track a single serving. I might be way over or way under and not know anything except my points tally for the day...maybe.
They won't be updating for android for awhile and the last time there was a glitch that made it so I could not type in a food, only the first letter of the food, it took almost a month to fix. <sigh> I am about ready to go back to tracking only on paper with a pen and seeing if I can find all the old information, print it up, and go from there. We will see.
Anyway...if you are having trouble with the Healthi App... this is why.

I have an android and I have been having the same problem. When you change the default serving size (either increase or decrease), the bite count changes but not the calories or the other macros. Since I use Healthi to track calories and carbs, that makes Healthi pretty much useless to me.
I contacted Healthi through the app to complain about this glitch. They responded that they knew about it and were working on it. The fix is supposed to be implemented on the next update, probably this weekend.

Interesting. Someone named Sara Ann on the Healthi community site on Facebook said her Beta program is working as it should and she was hopeful it would kick in soon BUT no actual date had been provided for the update for android users. I did do a side by side inputting of foods on MFP and Healthi and there was a discrepancy in calories 1140 (mfp) vs 1513 (healthi) so will be tracking on both (probably) but focusing on points mostly till they update comes through.

cathygeha, Thanks for posting this. I just really watch the bites so I didn't notice the calorie or macro issue. But now I will look at that closer. I just noticed that the look of the app changed and I didn't particularly like the new look, but I didn't realize there was an actual misfuncation. I will pay more attention. I have an android phone too.

Glitches happen but the "i" in the name of the app makes me think they cater to iPhone users...maybe?

but the "i" in the name of the app makes me think they cater to iPhone users...maybe? Oh, that could very well be! I feel like a lot of apps cater towards iPhones. My husband didn't really like Apple products so we got Androids when they first came out and I just stick with them now

hpeterson1951, I've stuck with androids because that is what I learned on with my first smartphone. My friend returned her IPhone because she didn't like the changes from her android but Apple phones are very popular. All of my friends use Apple products and I often don't get texts and photos from the group because of some weird settings within both types of phones. I wish they worked together better; there are plenty of people for both types. WW has always done updates for Apple products first so I think it's harder to change androids.

I have heard/read that Apple is harder to crack for scammers and hackers but who knows. It could be an image thing. It could be that if you live in one place or another it is easier to access what you need and synchronize all the family on one device that shares. I live overseas and use what works best here in Lebanon BUT the minister of something or other posted something today that in-country strikes are hampering service and they are "working on it" though personnel feel underpaid and overworked (as do many in Lebanon) so...who knows what will happen.
<sigh>

Healthi just did an update so if you're still having issues make sure you go to your app store and click on the actual name of the app, don't just trust that it will automatically update, or trust that it doesn't say to update unless you actually click on the app name!
