This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Monday, Monday.
Good morning (or afternoon...Lol). Grey, windy and cold here today. Tomorrow looks like 100% rain. Yuck. Both of the fake potted trees on the porch have blown over a some point and I guess I'm just going to leave them laying down until this windy stuff passes.
Well, supposedly MIL will go home today, but they told her that she has to pee first. She struggled with this the time before last when she was in the hospital. I'm beginning to think she must have a shy bladder or something. Lol
Anyway, mostly just hanging out around the house tomorrow. I need to check tomorrow's weather forecast to be aware. DH just got a message that they were doing maximum telework tomorrow with only essential personnel on base due to potential weather concerns. It is that time of year for us... dang.

Hi Everyone, Today we left early. My director told me I could pack up and get ready to leave. That was around I think 12:30-45. The boy didn't come today. She told my teaching partner to go home earlier like 10:45 and get some rest. I really hope she does not go to her father's until later on and get some rest. I did get some things done though. Susie, as far as the schedule goes this week if you have PTO time and we aren't on the schedule to do extended care we can take it. I elected not to even though I do have it now that it was straightened out. If I was planning to get together with a friend for lunch or something I may have taken a day off but am not so it's a relaxed week for us. I don't have all that much to do.
I was trying to cut out an activity though for a center wide celebration for the Week of the Young Child. We are doing a carnival/ circus theme so I am having the kids make seals with balls. Trying to keep it simple and not complicated for them to do.

Good evening, Lora, I hope your MIL's transition home was smooth. I love water aerobics, and I might do that again this summer. Janet, that is nice that you were able to go home early today. The seal/ball idea sounds fun. Are they coloring, painting? or How will they be created? Susie, glad the Easter dying went well... more memory making fun!! Today the students created catapults with a STEM challenge, which was fun. The students are restless, for sure, and so am I. lol DH and I plan on visiting DH's family farm over Spring Break. I am going to rest this evening and go to bed a bit early (after a few episodes of some shows I'm watching.)

As for the activity, keeping it very simple as letting them paint will probably take too long as some may really get into it but not sure I have time to let them spend a lot of time on it. So I have been cutting the pattern of the seal. They can paste the seal to another piece of paper and then paste on some precut small circles on top of the nose of the seal. They draw on the whiskers and add a movable eye/s if they wish.

Hello All - went to my gym class, then walked with DD. I went back to her house this afternoon to hide Easter Eggs for the DGDs. I will do it for DGS on Thursday. I played Charades this evening at the clubhouse.
Lora - sorry you are having more rain tomorrow.
Jill - hope you have a good time visiting DH's family over Spring Break.
Janet - hope dear partner actually did get some rest... you too...
Good Night All...

Hi Everyone, It's my day for extended care but so far no one has come- cross my fingers and toes no one does come in the next few minutes then I think I will be clear. My coworker didn't take advantage of going to rest yesterday so she said she didn't get any rest but that is her fault. It was nice that our director told her to go home and get some rest. My friend/ coworker wasn't responding to any of my messages over the weekend but I know she sleeps a lot. She said she was going to take off yesterday and plan to go to the walk in clinic but she said she didn't go because she wasn't feeling well. I even called and left her a message on her phone. When she came today she She told me that she had a bad migraine headache so she hadn't responded. Jana, glad you enjoyed your weekend but too bad that your older sister bailed out. Hope everyone has a good day.
