This thread is for all of us who have been on the weight loss merry-go-round quite a few times. We have banded together to make this our FINAL time. We offer support & motivation, WEIGHT LOSS TIPS, food ideas – whatever you need to make it your FINAL time. If you start the day’s thread, please copy and paste this paragraph.

Good morning!
It is a cold one again today--hopefully this is our last cold shot before some Spring temperatures come in. We are going to run with the group this morning so that will be a cold but good way to start the day. Yesterday was a good day at work--got some significant things done and my assistant told me that she felt like she needed to do more---so I loaded her up with some work and she was happy (so was I--she is GREAT). The dermatology appointment went well--he said "A+ --you pass." So I am happy. I have been peaking at my blood work (there is a TON of it---like 6 different panels) and the thing that jumped out at me is that my hemoglobin is low....like slight anemia. It surprised me. I am curious to hear what she says about that. Waiting on the Thyroglobulin. That one has to be sent out and we want that one suppressed below .9 so I will watch for it. Anyway....it will be good to have an appointment and hear her thoughts.
Sue: Oh, that is great that David and Katie can stay at your house! I didn't realize it was Josh's weekend with the boys. I love waking up with visiting family, having coffee and breakfast in our pajamas with messy hair....just love the whole thing. I know that you and David really enjoy cooking together----it will be fun! So glad that the pool time felt good and you stopped when you should. I hope that you feel fine this morning as well. Oh, the rain on the wedding day---something about "tying the knot" and if you tie a knot with wet material it is super strong and hard to untie? I thought I saw something about that. Yes, we will look at a few cars this afternoon and see if we can't narrow it down. There is one we like about 90 min away that, if we like the model we drive locally, we might make the trip up there to see if we can negotiate a deal. We will see. Those skins are called "Grilling Wraps" and I think you can get them on Amazon? I get them at the grocery store though....I hope that you have a wonderful day today!
Carole: Hoping that things went well yesterday. I don't blame you about the recognition for 25 years of service. Sheesh! This is only my 10th year at my current place and I don't expect the recognition but we will see. I hope that your weather improves? I am sure AZ will be great for you!
Karen: Good to see you stop by! April 20th is the day my DS turns 30 so I will remember that date! Hoping that they made some decisions about the venue, etc. so that you can relax and enjoy it. Is this your Spring break? If so, I hope that you are relaxing!
Jenny: Yum, your meals sounded so good! So glad that you snuck in some "you" time this weekend!
Okay, gotta run (literally). See you all later!

Good morning! I have taken on ELA tutoring for our state tests so my day is now starting at 7am with kids. I have 5 this morning. Not sure what inspired me to say yes but here I am. Isaac is getting married at a little chapel near our house in the mountains and then coming back down to the flat land for his reception at Sims Country BBQ. www.facebook.com/simscountrybbq/ where there is clogging every weekend. It fits his personality and I've taught many of the Sims kids. They still don't have everything planned (including cake) but I am not stressing. I'm mother of the groom and I took care of the rehearsal dinner at Dan'l Boone Inn in Boone, NC. www.danlbooneinn.com/ Got to get back to my kiddos.

Jenny: Hey our truck battery was dead a few weeks back too! Weird how it just randomly happens. Glad you could shop for Mom & Dad, sorry Mom wasn't feeling well. A cold? Nothing serious I hope. Ummm, I am looking forward to AZ, but "excited" probably isn't the word I would use. LOL Gotta get through Bake Sale week first. I also need to start getting things packed... I hate feeling this lazy!
Karen: Hope you find time to pop in and get us up to date with the wedding planning. I just love your new picture ♥
Sue: Ohhhh that "sloppy breakfast" sounds soooo yummy! I might have to have Ken grab some sausage from the store this week. That and Dried Beef... have been craving Dried Beef Gravy for some reason!
Aww, too bad the boys will miss some time with David & Katy, but will be nice for the adults to have some time to visit.
Gabrielle: Thanks for starting us off this morning. Chilly here too, only 31, should get "up" to 40, and sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to be 50, so is Saturday (Bake Sale) and SUNNY. ☼ Hopefully we won't need winter coats and gloves at the bake sale this year! Looks like we are leaving town just in time... by next Tuesday it might be snowing here!! So good to hear your assistant needs more work! YES, DELEGATE, delegate, delegate... WOO HOO for the A+, Well, slight anemia is fixable... fingers crossed all results come back good!
HA! Update on my "award"... apparently at the banquet, my name was called out to accept my award! So there is an award - I just need to coordinate pick up with HR! SO, tell me why... WHY would they call my name - knowing I wasn't invited? Anyway, I will get my plaque.
Karen: Good for you, taking on the tutoring in the morning, before school. Good idea... no stressing over the wedding. If they need more from you - they will let you know.
Sue: Nice hat!!
Yesterday Back to Basics, didn't go so well, so I am starting today off better than yesterday! Already had some water, and my 55g protein breakfast! When this cup of coffee is gone, I will fill the water bottle.
We made a quick trip to Wal-Mart yesterday. Decided not to eat out - but then got home, and got into emptying the closet spaces upstairs and skipped lunch!
Today I want to pull out all the pie supplies, and make sure I am set for Thursday/Friday. We also want to get the flooring finished, so we can get things put away again. Oh and we moved the futon into the spare room yesterday! So now I have a place I can set stuff ready to pack! I know it will all work out, but I am starting to stress over not being ready for vacation.
So I think I'd best get moving here, to get some things crossed off my list!
♥hugs♥
