This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!
Well, the weather man was not wrong this time. It started raining last night and has not stopped. I guess if I'm looking at the bright side, I'd have to say that at least it should be clearing a long of this icky tree pollen out of the air. So my eyes should be a bit happier. This mess is supposed to move out this afternoon/evening and then we should be good until next Tuesday. Hopefully, that's the case. It's about time to knock out our first mow of the year, so that's likely on the schedule for later this week or weekend.
Unless the mood just happens to strike this afternoon, I'll probably wait for tomorrow to head back to the gym.
When I spoke to MIL yesterday evening, she seemed to be doing well at home. Today is FILs chemo treatment and I told her that she absolutely does not need to go with him. It's usually a several hour process, and a couple of extra if they decide that he needs blood. She promised me that she would not be going. Hopefully she'll follow through on that. But I know how he is about doing things on his own. Their level of co-dependence is disturbing, especially him. He literally can hardly function without her there - I mean just normal day to day things, like charging his hearing aids, doing laundry, calling to make or change an appointment, etc. I keep telling DH that I do not want that to be us. I love him dearly, but I'm not just going to give up living if he's not right beside me 24x7. And I absolutely would not expect that he would either.
Jana - are you back? I hope you all had a nice weekend in NC.
Jill - Awww. A trip to the farm should be nice and relaxing. Is that Iowa?
Waving to all that I'm missing. I'll probably BBL.
Anyway, I hope everyone will be having a terrific Tuesday!

Good morning. Unfortunately, vacation is over for me. Fortunately I actually feel very refreshed and reenergized.
I had a great weekend in NC with my YDS. ODS didn't show up. We figured she was backing out on Thursday when she started complaining and then not answering us very much. She finally admitted she was backing out Friday night. We attempted to get her to come just for the day and she just ignored us. It is what it is at this point. She says she wants to be included - and we tried. The ball is in her court.
I did spend Thursday on the beach even though it was pretty breezy. It was fine - I kept a sweatshirt on and shorts but really enjoyed the peacefulness of sitting by the ocean. There were a few people on the beach but not too many.
Lora sorry to hear that MIL was put back in the hospital. I hope she is doing ok now. My parents were exactly like that. It was a very rude awakening for Daddy when she passed away. I do help him a lot but I do not do everything for him.
FYI my finger is healing up nicely. Yesterday was the first day I left the bandage off all day. It is still a little tender, but I am not so worried about it bleeding anymore.
Waving to everyone. I hope you are having a great beginning to your week.

Oops! I wrote this morning's post under Monday's thread. I guess if you either know how to paste it here or you can go back and read it.
Well, got out early again, the child never came today for extended care and drumroll! I have the rest of the week off without taking it from my PTO time. Since I tend to go in earlier than my regular time and got there before our director she said I put my time in. I don't clock in before my time though. She said though they can track it on the computer which I never thought about. I am not always on it though or at least all of the time I get there early.
Anyway, dropped my friend off and decided to try going back over to Walmart to see if they might have got in my generic Neutrogenia rain bath gel. They didn't but I bought socks that I meant to look for last time. I decided to go to the next closest Walmart but they didn't have it either so I think I may just order it. Lately it's hit or miss with finding it.
Came home and just chilling until dinner with Cassie. Tommorow and Thursday it's supposed to rain so may do indoor stuff in my apartment. If it's not too bad I may go over to my gym which is close by. Friday may go out for lunch with my friend at the Thai restaurant and then let her go to Giant nearby and get grocery items. BBl.

Hi again!
Jana - So glad you enjoyed your NC trip. Sorry about the no-show sis, but I'm guessing that you both knew that was a possibility, as it seems she has a history of that kind of thing, right? Great that your finger healing is progressing well. Oh...I was at the Tractor Supply store the other day and I'm not at all a fan of this years painted metal rooster. The colors are just kind of weird...almost like florescent pink, yellow and orange on the wings. So, it's not even tempting me. Lol

Hello All - went to my tap dancing class and a Brain Power class. We all need all the Brain Power we can get ! I played Bridge and we went to church dinner. Now it is time to chill and watch TV.
Lora - I also hope that MIL does not go with FIL for his treatment. THey mowed our lawn today...always looks so nice when it is done.
Jana - glad you enjoyed the beach even if it was a little windy and chilly! Happy to hear the finger is doing better too.
Janet - I read your post from yesterday first and wondered how you knew that Jana's DS didn't show up - lol! Glad you got the socks at Walmart so it wasn't a wasted trip. Yippee that the child didn't show up for extended care.
Waving to Robin and Jill - night all...

Has anyone heard of a website called Dover Mart? I saw this site advertising the gel I wanted but when I went to start to register with my email address it said there was an error and that the address was already taken. I have never heard of this site before today. However, that is not the first time that it said that. I have heard that sites somehow get information like that. My bank account is secure and safe. Once though a few years ago I did something not so smart on fb. My credit cards were used to do a fraudulent purchase. Luckily I hadn't used my checking account to do it. I changed the account card and number and really haven't used that new card either. I didn't go any farther as far as purchasing anything today. I could try using a different email address but first I'd like to know if anyone heard of this site before.
