134D13 - Crazy morning. I fell asleep early last night at 11:15 PM and woke up at 4 AM. After debating, I decided to try to fall back to sleep. Next thing I knew, it was 9:40 AM. I threw myself together and got to table tennis at 10:15, played 3 or 4 games, then to the gym for my 15 minutes on the recumbant bank. Since I didn't have time to eat breakfast, I decided it was a good opportunity to try a longer fast. My friend and I went grocery shopping and I didn't start my slice of pizza until 1:30 PM, so it was a fast from 9:30 last so 16 hours, the longest yet. Interestingly, it was absolutly no problem.

Quick update on us: Nick had a seizure and crashed into the guardrail on the highway last night. They took him to the hospital to monitor him for a concussion. While he was there, he had 2 more seizures, one of them being a grand mal, which he’s never had before. They sedated him and put him in observation for the night. His short EEG showed something this morning, so he is now in a regular room hooked up to an EEG for at least 24 hours. Our family could certainly use everyone’s prayers.

Jan - OMG. And he was just getting settled into his new digs. My heart goes out to you and to Nick and of course the rest of the family. Hoping for better news after the 24 hours. Please keep us advised.

((((Jan)))) prayers for Nick. I'm glad is doing ok - how frightening to have a seizure and accidents. Having seizures while.tjw hospital might give his doctors more information. I keep a written prayer list and have added Nick.
