Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Last day of the work week for me. We’ve had a busy week. 8 more vehicles delivered yesterday, 4 of them came in late and still need to be finished this morning. Scanning has piled up so I’m hoping we don’t get any more vehicles today.
I still have a lot to do before tomorrow. I have a placek (Easter bread) to bake, eggs to boil (easy part), cook my fresh Polish sausage, and I still need to pick up my small cross bread. And I’m taking my car to get washed, it needs it. Fortunately basket blessing is at 1pm, so I have time in the morning.
Enjoy your day

Good late afternoon all. Happy Good Friday. So tired I can hardly function. Up at 7 am 2 days in a row is about to do me in.
Had a good visit with older DD. She’s so easy to have around. We went out to dinner yesterday to a Ramen restaurant that she likes here. She picked up the check even though we told her we had wanted to take her out.
Today younger DD’s family finally got here and visited for a couple hours. Stan went to peddling class; got home and had a quick lunch I had prepared ahead of time for him; he left for acupuncture, older DD left for home, and younger DD’s family left too. I gave the girls their Easter gifts (no baskets & just a bag of candy in their favorites) because we don’t know if we’ll see them Sunday or not. I don’t care either way.
Dottie. Our meeting with the lawyer’s office was interesting. We met with a man who actually graduated from the high school I worked at in 2003, I retired in 2004. And he was an athlete so I would have either signed him up or put his name in programs as he was a hockey goalie. Anyway he isn’t an attorney, he’s considered a Client Relations Specialist. After he asks you a lot of questions about your goals, your family, etc.; he walks you through the differences in Estate Planning & Elder Law Care. 2 totally different things. And he explained some of the short comings of the POA, Wills, etc. that we already have. Although he commended us on having them as only 25% of the population have any of those things. This practice does nothing but estate planning and elder care help. They don’t practice any other kind of law at all. So they know what they are doing. We are going to do both and I believe we’ll also have new wills, new POA’s, and new health care directives (needed in Stan’s case for sure). We have a ton of homework to do and paperwork to collect for them; then we see them again for a 4 hr meeting; more work and a 2 hr meeting, and then a final meeting to sign paperwork. And it’s not cheap by any means and you pay in advance. But we don’t see that we have a choice. They explained a lot and we learned a lot but I’m sure we’ll know way more than we want to by the time we’re done.
joy, glad you are getting cars in. Have a great Easter. Waving to Martha. Dottie, enjoy your family.
gotta run. Time to meet up with DS to return Mara.
