Any special weekend plans? Anything special on Easter Sunday?
My daughter and her friend will be here for Easter Sunday dinner and also my son. We will be getting ready to fly to Florida for my oldest daughter's 60th birthday. We'll be there a week.

Sorry, I have been out of touch for a while. We have plans to go to DS#1's house tomorrow for Easter. Hopefully the boys are going to be able to take their dad. We are taking the oxygen machine, so that we won't have to worry about his running out of oxygen. Hopefully, It will work out.
I will try to start answering everyone's post this upcoming week. I read a lot of them last week while sitting in DH's hospital room.
Happy Easter everyone!

Happy Easter everyone! If someone slipped me some Cadbury chocolate eggs I wouldn't mind... I'm off Sunday. I have one student to tutor in the afternoon (just as on any other Sunday) and I'm doing a Zoom get together with the women on the other message board I'm on. Other than those two things, DH and I will probably watch more movies that we've recorded.
We watched Major League (my first time ever) a few days ago. I really liked it! But it's very very dated... no one would dare make a similar movie today! I had to keep reminding myself that it was made 50+ years ago...

I was off today but work on Sunday. (Grocery stores don't close for Easter). I found a church that has a service early enough for me to attend and still make it to work on time, so that is my morning plan. Probably won't make it here on Sunday morning, so Happy Easter everyone.

No special plans for the weekend. The church loudspeakers are blaring a week before Orthodox Easter though it is Easter for Maronites and Catholics today. I have butter-broad beans soaking and will cook them soon in water then add to a tomato-onion-garlic sauce, make some rice, and serve with a cucumber-yogurt-garlic salad.
Time changed this morning in Lebanon with clocks moving forward. I went to bed early and woke up before sunrise so heard birds singing to greet the morning. Lovely way to wake in the morning.
First though, I will walk for thirty minutes while reading a book.

Not much different from a non-holiday weekend here. We'd hoped that the weather would be warmer, nicer weather to work in the back yard. Within the past couple of weeks we've had stronger winds, we'd hoped to pick up more of the smaller branches & twigs that have fallen. Not a big deal, there will be better weather. weekend thoughts - Even though my husband and I am both retired, there's usually still a calmer, quieter, more relaxed feeling for weekends, especially Sunday. I suppose, even more relaxing because I know I don't have to go back to work on Monday.
