Gabrielle: YAY for having the day off Friday, and meeting with the BMW Genius!! We still never went back to see how to do some things on our new car. Someday... WOO HOOO... are you ready for the onslaught of calls and text messages when your retirement is announced?? I hope you have a relaxing day today. LOL Thanks, I am second guessing the trip tomorrow. We should have given ourselves one more day to get ready! It will happen... and yeah, I don't need much, just capris, tops, sweatshirt, and I'll be fine. Warm & comfy is the name of the game this week! All 20 pies SOLD... donuts were NOT a big seller this year, but oh well, everyone gets to have some at home! I threw some in the freezer for DH when we get home.
Jenny: How fun to go to Easter with your sister, and the boys. LOL Boring people?? I doubt it... someday I hope to be boring! Oh yes... I hit the tub Friday, then yesterday after the sale, Tracy came up and got in with me. It was SOOOO COLD standing down there! Overcast, little sun, wicked breeze. I call it WIND! UGH, but by 2 when we got home (of course) the sun came out and the winds died down... so she & I enjoyed some time in the sun! Well I don't "DO" shorts, but I will feel good in capris and short/no sleeve blouses.
Hey Jenny - have you ever had sinus issues since using your CPAP?
Christine: Thanks for starting us off yesterday. Yikes, lots of reports to write... you will be fine. Can you take some PTO during spring break to concentrate on reports? I know it's a busy time for you at work-work. {{{hugs}}} UGH What a horrible drive home. Glad you made it safely. Calling for snow here this week too. By the time we get back it is supposed to be back to 50s and sunny.
Glad you can be comfortable hosting dinner today. Oh poor Carly. That's the bug that made it's way through Zoë, Kathy, Tracy & Bob last week! So glad you had a night out with family Friday night!! Love that Tracy knew not to share the evening with Virginia.
Gabrielle: HAPPY Birthday to DH!!! Glad you opted to eat out, and not host a birthday dinner. Oh nice that you are also going to your Mom's today for dinner. Didn't you end up doing the cooking, the last time she hosted a dinner? LOL Right, I do not care for the donuts. But I do like the raw dough. I know, I know... but I have been eating raw dough since I was a kid, and it hasn't killed me yet!
Jenny: YAY for nice weather, and getting out to your patio again. I so hope the weather is good for your Dad's BD party. Glad he is doing much better.

Here comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity, Hoppity Easters on its way... Actually it's HERE! Wishing all you wonderful friends a Happy and safe Easter. ♥
We will head to Kathy's around 10:30. Tracy is already there to hide the eggs, then go in and nap until people arrive. She got out of work at 7 and has to go back at 3 today. Our day is usually winding down by then anyway, so Ken and I are hoping to leave early too! LOL I'm SURE there will be cake for our anniversary, and that should be done by the time Tracy leaves too.
I woke up early today, took my pill, then got up for "check in" for tomorrow's flight. I upgraded us so we are boarding A7 & A8, so seating should be fine. I set an alarm on my phone to go in at 11 this morning to check in (and upgrade if needed) the 2nd leg of the trip, out of Chicago.
So the CPAP email this week, says patients report feeling more energy, using CPAP, FOR.THREE.MONTHS.!!! OMG... oh well, 2 out of 12 weeks, I'm on a roll!
OK Time to get moving - Hope you all have a wonderful day ♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Okay, I can't think of another Easter song to quote lyrics so I made my font pink in honor of the holiday...Happy Easter! It rained again last night and for all of my run yesterday (except for about 30 minutes). It is fine...I am sure that someone out there is claiming that we need the moisture, but I am feeling for the kiddos who hoped to hunt easter eggs this morning. It will be a soggy egg hunt. Dinner last night was nice--it is an Italian restaurant not far from here. I taught the daughter of the owners when they moved here back in 1990 and opened the restaurant---Rosana Nanci--a nice, Italian name! I love that their restaurant is still thriving. It was good to talk with everyone and have time together over a meal. We will again this afternoon at my DM's house. She is looking forward to having everyone over and I am glad that she is feeling confident about it.
Carole: So tonight (well, practically tonight!) you will be heading to the airport--yay! Hey, it wouldn't be a real getaway if you weren't rushing at the end to get it all together....it is so helpful that it is a warm place too. DH has been watching the LPGA tournament in Gilbert AZ and craving the warm temperatures there---it is beautiful. Congrats on selling all of the pies and I am sure everyone appreciated having some donuts to take home. LOL, we always "tested" the cookie dough and never got sick either...heck, my grandfather used to salt and pepper the hamburger for burgers and give each of us a tiny piece of raw hamburger! Well, I am glad that you read about the 3-month thing with the CPAP. At least you won't be wondering if it is "working" for a bit. Do you pack it in your suitcase with you? I know that a lot of people travel with them--I've seen the signs about it at security. Enjoy your family day today and hope that you can get a bit of sleep? It won't matter...you can lay in the sunshine and sleep! I can't wait to see your photos, etc. Have a wonderful day!
Sue: Oh, I am so happy that you dropped by. I wasn't sure as I knew that you would be celebrating being with family. It sounds like the boys did get to see David and Katie? Enjoy your family time today!
Christine: Hoping that today is a good day for you and the family and that Carly is feeling better.
Jenny: I hope to see some photos of those cuties hunting eggs! Is the weather looking to be good for your dad's birthday? Although it is a lot of work, I love hosting something like that at the beginning of Spring because it forces me to get everything done in the yard and then I enjoy it through summer.
Hello to Jo, Karen, and all who follow. I need to do my grocery shopping (yes, on Easter!) since I wasn't here last weekend. Another part of "getting organized for the week" in this house. Hope that you all have a good day with family!

Happy Easter everyone
I cleaned my house yesterday and got the cabinets all washed off. I got a new bedspread, so I changed the sheets and got that put on. Mowed the lawn and by then I was so tired so I opted not to power wash, I have got two more weeks to squeeze that in. I did get the ham smoked in the smoker and cut up. I did some eggs up for deviled eggs and in a few minutes I'll go and make my potato casserole and then we will pick up my Mom and Dad and go see my sisters family.
Carole I've never had a sinus infection with my CPAP but Kerry has gotten one. That's why you make sure you clean the mask at least once a week in warm soapy bubbles and I use just a teaspoon of bleach, he uses white vineagar. Glad you got some hot tub time yesterday, sorry the donuts weren't a hit but hey, you sold all the pies which is good.
OK I hope you all have a great Easter, enjoy your families today.
HOP HOP
