This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy Sunday to all!
Well, I had a big, fat OOPSIE yesterday. Some how I missed that Susie started the thread yesterday and started another a full 2 hours or so after she did. haha! IDK how I didn't see hers when I went to the page where all of the currents are listed. Maybe it didn't refresh or or something. Anyway, hopefully I'll do better today.
Well, all of the sudden we got a little bit of a plan. We're going to go to our fave Mexican restaurant and then pop up to the top of the mountain above it and have a little walk around at the little park up there that has the great views.
Then back home, I guess. Or we might pop in to home depot. We have to pass right by it and it's always hard not to stop. Lol.

Hi Everyone,
Did another edit this morning that I was trying to do last night but I was having a hard time for some reason getting to that website so did it today without any problem.
Popped out for a few things at the Dollar General and the Dollar Tree that I forgot to get the other day. Having some lunch and little bit later am going to pick up the one member to go Miniature Golfing and then to dinner. I haven't been to this restaurant before. I've seen it as it's in the same shopping center the Thai restaurant is. A lot of the menu items have beer in them and I don't like beer but there are enough things without. I think that I've heard that you can't really taste it as it gets cooked.
Back to Paradise tommorow. I haven't missed it though. Happy Easter to those that celebrate.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate. Lora, the Mexican restaurant sounds wonderful!! Janet, miniature golf sounds fun...I have done that in years. Susie the egg hunt and restaurant with DGS sounds nice.  Waving hi to all!! I'm at the airport waiting to board for the farm. I made DH a breakfast for our Easter meal. It's weird being without the kids. Last night we went to church service so it was nice not rushing this morning. I'm a bit concerned for the dogs since it's the first time our new neighbors are watching them. This is our first time leaving our new "Cypress." Waving hi to all! |

Hello ALL - Happy Easter to those celebrating....DH and I went to church, came home and read outside - it was really nice for awhile, then got chilly and started raining. I came home from church with a lovely Easter plant...a mixture of narcissis, tulips, crocus, and hyacinths - just lovely! I fixed a rack of lamb for DH. I have never really liked it, but thought I would give it another try. It is not my "cup of tea" so he will have 2 more lamb meals. I froze a couple chops and have a couple others for his dinner tomorrow.
Lora - enjoy the Mexican restaurant and walk.
Janet - I haven't played miniature for years either. It was always so much fun.
Jill - IT was odd for us too with none of the family with us in church or for dinner. Have a safe flight and a wonderful time at the farm.

Hi again!
The miniature golf game was ok. It was a sunny day and not too hot. I didn't do too great score wise but that's OK. This other guy that we know came and we had too many for one group so the three us played. I had to coach the one guy who came with me about waiting until I was finished with my turn before hitting his ball. When we went to the restaurant afterwards I didn't sit near him at all. He didn't look like he was trying to talk to anyone. I probably would have heard him if he had as his voice can get loud.
The dinner took a very long time to come out. I understand it is Easter but think it took extremely long. I ordered a Southeastern Salad which was good but I don't remember if it said it had jalapeños in it because If I realized I would have told them not to put them on ĥit. Besides that it was good.
Jill, have a safe trip to the farm.
