Mj Hope that the car race entertained you and Toots. Was nice that you two could have a “not much” day and a prime rib dinner! Nice that you have a good way to dry west uniforms. Impressed that your system can handle 6 pieces at a time. Sending good vibes regarding the YM uni pieces yet to be returned. Glad you could have a relaxing day at home.
LaDonna Sounds like you were busy the entire weekend. How special to have shared Renee’s first Easter. We got a video of Sydney and Avery. They are so stinking’ cute! Congrats to Laken on her move. You must be very proud of her (and Randy) and excited for her big step! Hope that your Spring break days seem extra long and/or special.

April Fool’s Day Check our painting supplies. Think we are okay, but If not, I can make a quick H Depot run first thing in the morning. Vacuum. See if I can by a returnable, small piece if white baseboard. I want to see how painting the trim some shade of white would look. K advises using a med brown based stain, but I am not convinced. Having leftovers for dinner. Yay!

Good morning! The boards were finicky or the linkup from here to the boards was wonky - had to leave for a couple hours and am online now...will keep it short today and say it was a nice-ish weekend, chats with children were iffy at best, and the scale has stayed steady for three mornings as I track and eat healthy and move more. Fingers crossed that the effort will show results. My goal is to stay at target points and save for the Potluck on Thursday.
More when I have more time.

Plugging along with the to do list... Breakfast was Ezekiel toast with egg and avocado, and lunch was cabbage salad with cranberries, nuts and smoked tuna. Both were very tasty. Dinner will be turkey pot pie. Its warm here today but cloudy.
June, Hope you can get the piece of the wood you need to see if you will like the white trim. All of my house has white baseboards and trim. You mentioned the eclipse last week and I meant to say when it happened several years back we were in the totality area. It was SOO cool! It was in the summertime so (most) kids were not in school but they let all of us year round emps go home. I think some schools are worried now that while its during a school day children may look at it unsafely and schools don't want to be liable??? Not sure but that's what I am hearing. We had the glasses to look at it but they ran out prior to the event and everyone did not have them.
Bee, whip it into shape I'll have a bit of a mess here until Laken's move is complete but no biggie.
MJ, Be careful
Cathy, great job maintain thru the holiday weekend.
Susi, glad you had a good visit with M&A. Way to repurpose those LOs

Good afternoon, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...

🐰 White Rabbit! 🐰 White Rabbit! 🐰 It's the first day of APRIL!
Yesterday was lovely - both the day and the way we spent it! Temps just touched 60* but in the sun it felt just right. We just puttered around (yes, all the M65 jackets that I currently have are washed up and drying). We greeted the Big'Uns and LIttl'Uns via text but then got quite a surprise when the Kressling wandered in mid-afternoon. He was looking for a spare computer monitor (we recycle bits like that around the family). We didn't have one but MissMouse said that she did, so he hung out here until heading to the MousekeHouse in the early evening. Pippin enjoyed snuggling with his favorite boy! We did our prime rib up "low and slow" and it was fork-tender, and the baked potatoes and broccoli were just right as the sides. There's enough meat left over for two more meals; one will roll out this week and one will go into the freezer. NASCAR started later than 7 PM due to rain in VA so it closed out our evening.
Today the rain is back - not too much yet, but it's supposed to continue through Thursday. Toots is glad that he got the grass cut last week! GracieTOO is at her spa day and will come home tomorrow since she has a few "ailments of age" that we're taking care of. Well - ailments of age (2017; 60K miles) but also a few things to which her being the YM GearMobile probably contributed. There've been a few times when she was "rode hard and put away wet" <ahem>. We unwrapped Toots' finger and it looks not-bad. No pain, no sign of infection. He's washing it now and I'll rebandage it using Aquaphor, per the post-op instructions. Yes, there will be a scar. No, he doesn't care.
Dinner will be chicken breast slices with gravy, baked potato, and clean-the-fridge veg.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... more coffee...
🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱🌷☔️🌷🌱
M🌺B & T: There was so much confusion in the FB "community" that I finally commented in the FB Messenger thread for the program guides - which apparently was NOT to be used for the PGs to discuss their ongoing concerns about how to best serve the new members (so sayeth the FB "House Manager", with great indignation - although no comments or concerns were put into the FB group). <meh>. If not there, then where? So many ppl are overwhelmed and the support team is not sure what they can say / where they can say it without the wrath of FB-HM for putting it in The Wrong Place according to her personal plan for controlling the environment. <double meh>. There are also requests for refunds bcz "it's just too complicated" and complaints about the Study Pods setup and implementation and complaints about the number of emails still going out.
