Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Happy Dyngus Day!
Looks like it’s going to be a cloudy day, but rain is not in the forecast until tomorrow. That should make for a nice late afternoon parade. The venues already start celebrating at 8am. Fun day in Buffalo. I don’t think I’ll go to the parade, but there is going to be a polka band at the firehouse near where I live that I might go to later today.
General housework on today’s agenda. Also laundry. Keeping busy most of the day. After eating a lot of the Easter foods, I need to get back on program.
Enjoy your day

Good morning, Sunshines 🌞 (((Hugs))) Digital detox felt good. I'm working on decreasing time spent on my phone. Instead of getting on computer, I check things on phone. Once dh gets home, I turn ringer off. Unless, I'm expecting a specific call/text, etc. Phone shut down when go to bed. Meals planned for the week: meatloaf & mashed potato tortilla lime soup & grilled cheese, shrimp salad with orange & red onion, cuban style pork roast with black beans/rice & salad, chunky turkey chili with lentils smoked salmon scramble with potatoes and quinoa salad. Other than the meatloaf and cuban pork, recipes are new to me. We re-organized the deep freeze, badly overdue! Found several items that will be used soon. 🌞🌞 Sunshine continues thru Tuesday. I think natural vit d is in order. I'm going to have a small garden. DH filled some planter boxes with dirt for me. Since dh has been eating more salad, lettuce definitely will be planted. Green leaf lettuce has been around $2/each. Pkg of seeds cost about same. Tomorrow is senior discount day. I have a short list. Need to get stuff done today since won't be home. I'll be doing it on mass transit, which shall limit purchases.(that's a good thing!) Have a great day! (((hugs))) 🍫🐣🌷🐰🌻

Joyce, that is great that you had a nice visit with DB and DSIL. I hope you had a good Dyngus Day, did you go by the firehouse?
Ruth, did you meet with both elder attorneys. It sounds like you will be setting up a trust. I know several friends who have trusts and they both mentioned it was a long process and costly to set them up. That’s great that you will have opportunities to meet up with your friend.
Martha, good luck with your garden. Will all the plants be in containers? I have several big tubs but just plant flowers in them.
Right now my DS and DBIL and Bill are all resting. We had a long day. Our cousin is staying on Marco Island and wanted us to come down to see it. It is a very expensive area but also very crowded. Lots of cars and traffic congestion. We had a nice visit and lunch but we (DS, DBIL, Bill and I) all agreed it was too crowded for us to enjoy. Parking at the beaches were $10 or $20 so we didn’t even go to the beach. DS and DBIL leave tomorrow afternoon, good visit. Tonight we are watching more basketball, UCONN women are playing at 9.
