Day 36 – Believe It!
To me this is a fun day because we come to terms with the idea that we have done “it” and are continuing to do “it.” (“it” successfully managing our weight)
Beck points out to us that since we have started the review we have gained/brushed up on critical skills we didn’t have before and learned how to use them consistently to be successful. She wants you to make a response card listing what you now know that has made you successful.
List your favorite skills you’ve learned from the book.
Think back on how much less you do behaviors that can lead you astray, such as fooling yourself, not sitting down to eat, eating mindlessly, eating too fast, and so on.
What habits that would lead you astray have you changed or improved because of the review?

During this review I worked on getting back to tracking and am doing better at it. I also worked on eliminating a second afternoon snack that I started a number of months ago. Reading about all the talking back to yourself really helped with this one. I was able to work through the urge to snack. I seem to be more willing to work things out when a problem comes up.

I am always made aware of what I know and what I need to implement more consistently. Will be remembering that as I move forward

The review has helped me remember the key points and tasks that I need to do. It's a back to basics. I have been slipping badly due to a lot of personal circumstances but the review has helped cement which things I need to really focus on - Reading and updating cards - Planning - Sticking to plan
I'm hoping weighing myself again will help

I started this review in great shape and was working my plan well. But for the last week or so I've had some set back. This is how things have gone for me always over the years. I guess it's what Beck means when she says sometimes it will be harder and sometimes it will be easier - it's cyclical. I think it's a good thing that I'm in this review at this time, because the tools and techniques are right here and right on my mind now, and this will help me get back on track. So this review is very timely for me.

I jumped into this review very late so I can't really honestly answer this question. But usually I get a reinforcement that I have to track and exercise daily, those are NO CHOICE if I want to lose and maintain.
