Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Woke up to snow covering the grass … Ugh! Won’t last, but winter is persistent this year.
Glad I have off on Monday, or as we now call it Eclipse Day. I was originally going to DB to watch, but it sounds like traffic is going to be a nightmare. They are staying home, and so am I. They have a nice area they plan in taking chairs to for the view, I have a couple of places I can walk to where there is a nice clearing. Just hoping the weather cooperates, so far it looks like it will.
Just a few vehicles delivered yesterday so we had time to catch up on some scanning. Would like to get that done today.
Enjoy your day

Good just after noon everyone! Stan is at Pedal class this morning. He was up during the night saying he felt like he was going to be ill. I got up this morning and saw he had finished off probably a dozen small chocolate chip cookies. I’d be sick too. He has developed the bad habit of eating during the night. If he weren’t doing these activities 4-6 days a week he’d be gaining a lot of weight. Eating during the night has never appealed to me so I don’t understand it. I think he’s bored, anxious, whatever so he eats!
While he’s at class I swept and scrubbed the kitchen floor. It’s needed it for over a week and it’s one of the things Stan has always done. Lately he’s doing nothing but taking the dog for walks. None of the chores he used to do. He’s not sick!! I’m going to have to push him to get him moving again.
I’m going down to gather up a couple garbage bags of stuff for a neighbor. She belongs to a group that gathers things and then do a big give away near the homeless encampments. Stan has brand new socks he won’t wear that are going and I have a bunch of DS’s 3XL & 4XL shirts and some other stuff. They also need blankets, sleeping bags, food, toiletries, etc. Going to see what I have upstairs and down. That will be my CB’ing for today.
I see there was an earth quake in NJ. I have 2 or 3 online friends from WW in that area. One posted on FB that they were Rockin and rolling! Thankfully doesn’t sound like much damage.
My annual mammogram is this afternoon. And I put in a Target order I’ll pick up after. Already notified it’s ready. I have a little of the tinnitus back again. Hadn’t had any in a couple days. Weird how it comes and goes.
Lost our hockey game last night. I think technically they aren’t out of the playoffs but I don’t think they’ll make it. Not winning the games they need to win!
Have a good day all. Will check in tonight during the game. Lots of sunshine and 50’s today so I’d like to get out and enjoy some of that.

Joyce, I hope the weather is clear on Monday so you can enjoy the eclipse. Hope you can find a clearing to view it from. Winter is still around in Connecticut also, our neighbor sent us a picture of the snow in her yard on Thursday, not a lot and melting.
Ruth, good job on getting rid of the extra clothing and going to people who will really need it. The earthquake was felt in Connecticut also. There were posts on our town page about it.
We went out to lunch on Sanibel Island, about an hour from our condo, this afternoon. That area was hit hard by Ian and there are still places that are in disrepair. Several shopping areas are completely unusable. The area where we would stop and walk on the beach are gone, they are doing a lot of repair work but it could be several more years before some things are repaired.
