Went for coffee this morning, came home and this afternoon Brian and Maddyn (his granddaughter) came for a visit. They had been to the Minnesota Zoo. She was pretty tired but did manage to wake up a bit and get kind of silly like little girls do. She is just a bit over 3 and her grandpa does spoil her a bit.
Just finished making chicken spaghetti. Will have some for supper and put the rest in the freezer. Still have the mess to clean up in the kitchen. Most will go in the dishwasher but a couple things I have to do by hand. Nothing else planned for the rest of the day. Probably watch some mindless TV tonight. Haven't read a whole lot today so will do that too.
Watched the guy behind me split and stack wood all afternoon. I think they burn wood for their main source of heat so he always has big piles of it stacked up. They have a big house so probably saves them a bunch of money. Off to clean up the kitchen.

Well, nothing like a group of churchgoing women to organize food for the sick or my old dept at school.
Dsil here is coming the day after surgery to help with my homecoming and bring dinner. She remembers bringing DB home with that surgery.
Niece is coming Friday am, and Either Nephew or his wife comes afternoon with food. Saturday either nephew or wife is coming afternoon with dinner. Sunday a friend is coming. Two more friends are bringing food the next week. By then things should be pretty stable and we will probably have frozen leftovers up to our hips. Good that Bob would not have to leave me alone to fetch food or cook himself.
iwill freeze a bunch of packets of ground cooked ground beef or sliced chicken. After a week I should be able to sit at table and mix up an impossible pie without liquids and have DH add the milk and eggs and pop it into the oven. Dsil who is coming for a week this month offered to cook something to freeze.
changing beds and shopping and fetching meds were mentioned! But I will have that done by the time I have surgery except for a prescription I might have to fill after surgery.
kind of amazed and feeling blessed.

Good evening,
Quiet day here in NJ after yesterday's earthquake. I saw on the news that they were letting some of the people return to 1 or 2 of the 3 houses that were leaning on each other.
Went to 5pm mass and didn't do much of anything tonight.
Hope everyone has a peaceful evening!

Lin- isn’t your surgery in May? Sounds like it is sooner. So glad you have help scheduled.
Since our friend died Thursday night, hubby and I have had a couple of serious conversations on our future if one of us dies. Both of us said we would not stay in this house without each other. Interesting.

decolady , yeah, those plans are not fun.
my sister in law is a great organizer, principal over K and preschool and head start school , then district coordinator for that in third largest city inAZ. In education you have those ducks in a row way ahead.nothing stops for you. I always had Christmas done by Dec 1 so I could get my dept through district finals end of semester and my own classes done before the break with flu season beginning. You do not hand in semester and quarter grades later even if you are dead! Yes it will be May 15.
I will be delivering dinner for her and DB tomorrow. Because she has surgery Monday!
this getting old is a pain in the….pick any place.
Geri, once I got classic word reinstalled and signed it into FB, I found everything.
probably the newer System is different for you too.
not enough fun here so now we have our COVID boosters for the new shot Friday…figure dsil could bring us vurus after travel on planes. And hospitals and waiting rooms are great places to get sick.
