Northeast Ohio is in the path of totality.
Oh dear the festivals and events are everywhere.
Are any of you in the path?
It's beautiful out today, not a cloud in the sky, clouds moving in I am really hoping especially for my kids that we will have a break in the clouds so they can see it.
🙏

Jennifer, What are they going to do with all those people? Read an article about some small town in Maine, population 900 was expecting 40,000 people.

The house I sold last year in Texas would be in the total eclipse. This is the only time that I am sorry I still don't live there. At the current house (Delaware) it is 88%. But -- I have a doctor's appointment during the 4 minutes or so that it is at 88% so won't be in that either...

I'm wondering that myself, my husband says we are staying home, we can see the sun directly from our yard. Downtown and by the lake are supposed to be hot spots for crowds.

In SW Connecticut we'll have about 90% coverage about 3:30 p.m. I'll be watching on a video monitor attached to my husband's camera on a tripod in our driveway.

A preview of the eclipse for those missing it because of clouds.

Well, I watched the eclipse. Four neighbors came over to watch on the video monitor. They all had glasses. A couple walking their dog stopped too so they could use the glasses and look at the monitor. I was surprised it didn't get dark. I thought it would.
