Good morning!
Wow, cold again here --- about 39 degrees. I think that all of us were hoping for some warmer days when April arrived and it hasn't happened yet. At least it isn't rainy....but we won't even get to see the eclipse (much)--I think that the light might change in the sky for a bit but that is it. Oh girls, funny thing happened at the store yesterday. The young guy at the register and I were talking and he mentioned the eclipse. When I said we wouldn't see much of it, he said, "Yep, it is travelling from Galveston to the northeast." I told him that i went to Galveston for the first time last year and he said he lived there for years. I said that I got a speeding ticket and he said, "Let me guess....in Jamaica Beach?" I laughed and said, "Yes!" He proceeded to tell me stories of all of the people they cite, that there is word that they are corrupt, etc. I told him, "Well you all should warn us tourists about it!". Isn't that funny? It wasn't funny at the time but, looking back, it is interesting! I did to go the gym this morning but took it easy on my legs--they are better than yesterday but that 4 miles of downhill was felt yesterday! It was still good to do some things to loosen them up. Today is a not-to-meeting-filled day and i have a haircut tonight. Hoping for a productive day and people who behave responsibly and work their full day (sheesh).
Carole: Wow, over 10 hours of sleep? That is amazing! You must have needed it! I find that, as I get older, the time changes effect me more. Maybe it is the same for you? It will be fun to see where you go in AZ next. I agree though, I like to park the rental car and walk everywhere. Do you have points that you can use in Palm Springs? I love it there and it's great for walking around --super hot in the summer (like AZ) but a fun place to visit. I might be asking DH if we can take the motorhome there in the fall. I was sorry to read that Ken didn't have a lot of people to play pickle ball with....that would have made it better. If I had been there, I would have played with him! I hope that you can see the eclipse and have a good day today.
Sue: It sounds like you had some nice time to yourself yesterday--- a nice mixture of family time and alone time. Your trip is right around the corner---I look forward to hearing how it all goes for you. I do hope that the boys can see the eclipse today. They have the day off? None of that is happening here in CA, LOL. Yes, I was glad that the doctor got me in pretty quickly for my consult and to schedule my colonoscopy. I have been a patient of his for 10 years so that might help? It is good because he just opened a new office that is a little closer to me too. I am glad to get in. I have been going through moments of anxiety about it all and times when I think, "Calm down. You feel fine and it could be SO many different things." Hoping that you have a good day and can see the eclipse!
Hello to all who follow. I need to get moving and get to work. I might try to pop in later to give my brain a break from work. Have a good day...make it one where you make good choices for your health and build up the momentum to keep it going!

Good Morning ☼ Already 55 degrees, sun is shining bright, and here I SIT! OMG I have to get out of this funk... TODAY! DH Got called into work this morning... DH Ran to Wal-Mart for grocery pick up yesterday, so today is prep day... must get it done!! I have chicken thighs cooked (froze after cooking) that I pulled, so tonight will be chicken and rice with broccoli for dinner. So I DO have a plan!
Sue: Love a nice salad bar - I'll be filling my Bento boxes again today. Geeze, poor Sarah! Long hours, then lay offs, new hires - training?? Seems a little odd. Yes, weather was awesome in AZ. Wish I was there now! LOL Actually it's not bad today, but I just can't wait for warmer temps. LOL The massage table was great, but no matter where I lay, if on my back, getting up hurts! LOL It was nice and warm. Oh and she put oils on my feet, then wrapped in hot towels, while she massaged my legs. Just awesome! Oh geeze, your lakes too? I had heard CA lakes may overflow, but now PA too? That would be weird to see from nothing to overflowing. Glad you can enjoy some quiet time yesterday, while everyone else was out. Yeah, I'm fine with no touristy places, sometimes... but I do like to get little things to bring home. I had to shop at the airport this time! LOL
Yes Shelburne Falls is the village, where the Bridge of Flowers and the Potholes are. Hagar's (maple ice cream) is just down the road.
UGH I cannot stand the waiting on the plane. Thank goodness I get the 4 free upgrades! We paid for the other 4, but totally worth it to us now.
Good Morning Gabrielle - Thanks for starting us this morning ☼ Sorry you were so chilly this morning. OMG How FUNNY the guy KNEW Jamaica Beach and speeding tickets. Glad you took it easy on your legs today. Fingers crossed your team steps up and just gets the work done today! Enjoy your haircut... mine is Saturday morning! CAN'T WAIT. It has been extra tie this time and it is getting to me.
Yes, I think between all the traveling and DH snoring all week, I was very over-tired! I've never looked at Palm Springs, but certainly will. Bluegreen actually doesn't have many places out "west", but we also have Hilton points. Ya' never know! LOL
We are in the 93-97% totality today. We may venture up to the fairgrounds, higher up and more "open" then in our own backyard? We'll see.
OK Time to get my Monday MOMENTUM started here. Another load of laundry then cooking/prepping/dishes... the fun never ends around here!
♥hugs♥

Good afternoon!
Total cloud coverage today for the Eclipse! What a disappointment for our area but hey, we can’t control the weather!
I’ve been working steadily on Evaluation Reports from the DR table. And answering emails. Ben only had to work until noon today. Carly finished her reports and billing this morning so off they went to get lunch and try to find clearer skies (looks blue down towards the Lake)…I really don’t want to deal with congested traffic so Gary and I will stay home and watch from the deck if anything happens lol

I watched the Eclipse on NASA TV, it was really neat. I hope you all enjoyed it. Something a person needs to see at least once in their life.
Got a clean bill of health from my Dr’s today. He does want me to loose weight of corse!!! He said try the 1200 calorie a day way with walking 20 min at least 5 days a week so here we go. He says as we age we don’t burn the calories we used to when we are younger so therefore we don’t need as much to eat in a day. I’ll try it and see. My blood pressure was 120/80 which it is perfect but I’m on 3 different blood pressure medicines. I asked him what he thinks of the GSL, he said they are so expensive and insurance only helps with some of the price only if you’re diabetic. I guess when you take these shots it literally makes you nauseous when looking at food so you don’t eat. You actually loose the weight because your starving yourself. Here I’m thinking oh no Thankyou. Now he said if your 500 to 600 pounds then you really may need them, so that was good to know. I also got my referral for a my colonoscopy, I’m on the 3 year plan so that’s done.
Ok gotta get back to work for now.
