Good morning all! Grab some coffee and check on in β
bbbearsmom what a great picture, thank you for posting it. πππππ I loved hearing everyones eclipse stories. I can't wait until doordie50 gets back to tell us about her adventure. lavonm what was it like being in the path of complete totality? It got really dark here I think we were in the 95ish% path. It was raining and dark at the same time but not the usual darkness from rain (if that makes sense π€£) just that spooky feeling. I am IN! Have a great day friends πππ

It was pretty neat here, I think we had about 96% coverage. It actually didn't get as dark as I expected, but you could definitely feel the temperature change.
Most of my boys would not keep their glasses on so we kept them inside and just played eclipse videos. One kiddo did go out so the staff all took turns going out with him so we could see it too.
It was a neat experience and I love seeing the pictures. I think the best part was watching the kids outside. My one TA's son is in 4th grade and comes into the room with his mom before and after school. Watching the happiness on his face at the end of the day brought us all true joy!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I'm IN for TUESDAY!πreneinitalyπ + πππ. ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅π Eclipse here was about 90%. It looked like a darkly cloudy day - definitely "different" but not nighttime-dark. One DGS's school gave them all glasses and 15 minutes to watch. Another's school pulled down the blinds and kept them away from the windows but then dismissal was right at totality . The aftercare people let the kids look if they had glasses. And then bright, beautiful sunshine until sunset at 7:30 PM. Sunny here. Temps will get over 70*. Yesterday morning we had heavy frost. Spring in NJ. I have NO idea where Monday went. Maybe it's better that way. I have a list. Let's see what gets crossed off, and what gets added on. Coffee... βββ... breakfast... π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π± Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all!π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±

We got about 90%. Not the darkness I was expecting but some very interesting shadows.
I'm in, planned and tracked.

As DebDoesWW said, yesterday we had clouds and some light rain before the eclipse time. The skies definitely darkened but at 97% with clouds, we didn't get the full effect. That's okay, though because I saw lots of videos. Can't wait for doordie50 to tell us how it was at Niagara Falls. I'm IN. Have a great day!

lavonm what was it like being in the path of complete totality? Unfortunately, we didn't have complete totality. I'm not sure what percentage we had but it sounds like your area had more totality.
