Good morning.
40, cloudy, high of 58.
Gareth, if I have time before work, I will call the apartment office, otherwise it will have to wait till tomorrow.
I did get a separate paper in the mail about the carpet cleaning, that was a copy of what we signed when we moved in, that they would take care of the carpet cleaning, with the 2-bedroom apt costing me $125. Fine.
And yes, in the downloaded list they would require a receipt.
How did your MRI go? Good luck, I hope it all goes fast so you can get relief quickly.
Robin, see what I wrote Gareth about the cleaning.
You really have to wonder about landlords or management companies that put white or off-white carpeting in places! Thank you, if I have time this morning, which might not happen, since I slept a bit later, I will call there to touch base with them.
I too need to get back to better eating, as I was doing ok trying to get the sugar out of my system till Saturday came with all the junk I had brought in, along with what everyone else brought. So back to the start.
Pinky, at least we are not getting any snow now, right? A local weather guy that I follow on Twitter said last night he thinks we had our last measurable snow fall, last week. Fingers crossed on that thought!!!
As you have seen by now, I did not hear anything yesterday, and with the eclipse going on during the afternoon, I did bother to try to call there.
I don't mind MRI's either, but it has been years since I had one, so who knows, maybe now, in my golden years, I may not like it.
Marsha, I did not watch the eclipse, just how it looked out my patio, meaning how eerie it looked, with the weird kind of darkness. That was pretty neat.
Thank you, about the girls. With how DGD was in elementary school, with her Asperger's, I am so happy she has a group of girlfriends. That is so important, when trying to work around those types of issues, in school, and DD and her DH were against any kind of drugs to control DGD, back in the day, so it was harder that way.
Anngie, it sounds like your day yesterday was the same as ours. It was so beautiful! I was disappointed they canceled recess; it would have been a perfect day for it.
I have a feeling that whoever sent in downloads, the wrong thing, for cleaning the carpets, as I mentioned earlier, I received in the mail a list of all the stuff I have to clean, along with a separate form stating I have to pay $125 for them to bring in a cleaner.
No clue about the new place, till I see the lease, haha, if that ever happens!!!
I hope you did not look at the eclipse, as just a glance can unknowingly to you, damage your eyes.
I did not watch it, except for the posts on FB occasionally.
Carol, sorry about the miscommunication with the plumber and the tub guys. Isn't that how it always goes? And it seems like those workers just don't care that you are somehow put out by it.
Thank you for the tip of taking pictures! I had not thought of that, and I love it!! Of course I have to say, with my DD's being picture crazy, they probably would do it, if they are here at the very end. I am dreading all the work I have in front of me to get out of here, as I know it is all on me, when it comes down to it. At least when we moved here, I had DH sharing the load.
Good luck with your DDIL's surgery today.
Hair apt after work today. Not in the mood but hopefully by the time I am done working, I will be, but I do not have a choice, so I will just have to suck it up.
DGD is sick once again. (After missing a whole week, the week before spring break, right before Easter)
When DD texted me that she would not be at school today, I did emphasize that she needs to see a doctor, this is enough being sick!!! I know DD will ignore me.
