Good morning! I'm up and at'em again this morning. I have slept terrible for the last 4-5 days. Don't know what it is. The other night I only got 3:57 hours of sleep. I got 5:08 hours last night. Anyway, we leave for our trip to NC today. It's 2 hours away but Steve wavy to go through the mountains so it will. Take longer but it will be a beautiful ride. I want to leave about 12n. I extended our stay until Saturday. It's supposed to rain mist of the time we are there. I booked an Ashville walking ghost tour for Thursday evening.Im taking my umbrella.

We were pretty much clouds covered forcthe eclipse but it peaked out one time and I was able to snap a picture, not a great one but whatever. DS Janet and DH, and one went to Vermillian PA, butcas far as Erie, but still 100% viewing of the eclipse. She got since great pictures. We were in the 100% range for the 2017 eclipse and it is just so cool.
Need to get some coffee. Be back to catch up.

Jenny, that was great you could watch the eclipse on NASA. It is so very cool. And how it hits dark for a bit but there's are still shadows. I agree everyone should see it once in their life. I'm not sure what GSL is but I take Mounjaro, my insurance covers it, it's a shot for weightliss as well. The only time I get nauseous is if I drink alcohol. So it's been a guys way due me to keep up with my 100 days dry. Which day 100 was yesterday. I'm loading a little at a time but this is my 1st month on it. I can tell that it really decreases my appetite. I'm glad you got a clean book of health and fire thr colonosvooy scheduled. I did Colarguard this year. It's a PITA but it's done and I'm his fur 3 years. I think the colonoscopy would be easier.
Gabrielle, so chilli there! Glad your hair appointment went well but yeah that's a long day. I hoye your presentation guess well. You New England/Canada trip sounds amazing! You will have a great time! And you get to see our Carole as a bonus. DI'd you book everything yourself yo take a guided tour? That's something DH and I would like to do.

Carole, sorry your eclipse viewing wasn't that great either. Imbgladvyou are getting some spring weather. We have nothing but rain and chilli Temps. Your trip to AZ sounds amazing. Wow now that's the way to sleep! I've been averaging about 5 hours lately. I'm so ready to get my 6.5 to 7 hrs again. You must have needed that rest. I'll have to try and post some of the pictures my sister got. Your didn't of chicken, rice, broccoli sound good. You buy the boneless, skinless chicken thighs? My DS Janet and Mary Beth both but those. Do you like them better then breasts? I don't like dark meat so all I get are Boneless skinless chicken breasts. How. Are he kitchen estimates going? What are you getting done? I feel like you got your kitchen remodelEd not that many years ago? What was it?
Christine, bummer you had cloud cover too.Glad you got some reports done. When is Carlys wedding? It's crazy how expensive wedding cakes are! Have you heard the thr wedding cookie table? It's a Pittsburgh thing but just curious. The families make cookies to set up at the reception. When I was growing up. I thought everyone had a cookie table at their wedding..lol DS Diane's GF took pictures in Erie. She lives at the same apartments Diane did. She fir done good pictures. She cone on to see Diane once a week. Which I know Diane loves.

Karen, bummer we can't meet up this time. We need to get together at some point. I know things are crazy with the wedding. It's supposed to rain the whole time we are there.
Well Daisy is on my lap under the covers sleeping and I'm out of coffee. She is so stinking cute!
Did I tell you that I'm seeing a therapist remotely? She is really good and we have connected. I feel comfortable talking to her. She is covered under my insurance also. I'm really trying to make self improvements here.
I bought mocktails to drink while care in NC thhey are called Improve and I ordered them on Amazon. Just my way of continuing to stay away from alcohol.
Have a great day ladies!

Good morning!
it is definitely warmer this morning....low 50s and it's nice. With the rain coming back in (and snow just east of here) this weekend, everyone is starting to get a bit impatient as we wait for Spring. It feels like April is moving kind of quickly...and still so much needs to be done! So Meg's house sold! 4 days on the market (offers received after two days) and $10,000 over asking price. How about that? 30 day escrow (YIKES) so we need to find her another house. I am so excited for her but know that this is a lot of work. I will do what I can and hope that the boys can come up on the weekend and help too. I got to see her last night because I was presenting to her Board (in the district where she is interim Superintendent). I didn't get home until 8:15 pm. Uggh. Another long day to start the week. Tonight I should be home at a decent time though. My first meeting is at 7:30 am though Yes, time to retire. Tomorrow is our tax appointment (AT LAST)...DH has the bulk of the work there with pulling together ranch expenses, etc. I just want to know the verdict.
Jo: Thanks for getting us going and yay for leaving for your getaway today! Sorry about the rain, but I bet that it will be nice to be somewhere else and I hope that you can relax. So sorry about he poor sleep lately---that can really wear you down. How great that you found a good online therapist! If I was looking (and I might one day soon), I think that online would be a great option if I connected with the person. The ghost tour sounds fun...they had those in Old Town when we were in San Diego but our trip was too short to take one---sounds fun though. We haven't signed up for any tours yet for our trip to Canada and New England. But we are looking at a few in Montreal and Quebec City---lots of choices! Have a safe trip today.
Sue: How great to have some time to yourself last night in a quiet house. With 5 of you living there now, I am sure that those times are rare. Wow, I can see how work would be hard when you got those sudden, huge orders. Maybe now that they have their new software installed, it will be more routine. Oh, how nice it will be to be in warm TX! So glad that you have that trip coming up. Oh, and it's also nice to have that extra time for yourself later this month....so glad that your psoriasis is resolving. I hope that today is a productive day for you!
Carole: How is your week going? Did you get your bento boxes set up for the week? Hoping that you are feeling good about it all. My friend who retired about a year ago was talking to me on Saturday (she was working at one of the aid stations for DH's run) and she said that the hardest thing for her was not feeling like she ALWAYS needed to be "doing" something. Kind of like weekends....trying to pack a lot of things in a couple of days before the work week. She said that she finally feels like she is doing better with that. I can see that! Have you experienced that too?
Christine: I hope that your week is going well and the 4 days passes quickly!
Hello to Jenny, to Karen, and all who follow. I have a work thing to get done really quick before heading in so need to sign off. Hope that you all have a good day and that I can check in this afternoon.

Good Morning - WORK IT WEDNESDAY 1.) Greatly decrease alcohol 2.) Track daily, being mindful of my macros 3.) Make movement a daily habit 4.) Be thankful each and every day ♥ Another chance to re-focus on my goals.
Gabrielle: WOW sorry you had 2 late nights in a row. Hopefully today is a better day and an earlier return home! WOO HOO for having your trip all booked!!! Please remind me which day you will be in Woodstock, VT?
UGH, No... Bento boxes are still not prepped! I just can't seem to get myself back on track these days.
Sue: Work sounds busy again, hoping it all goes well, and you get those off to the shippers. Unfortunately, our taxes do NOT look "good" this year (again)! Ken has to call the CPA... he was on the phone with him yesterday, but after hanging up he realized, something sounded wrong. Lewis said our owing so much is due to Ken collecting SS and working/earning more than the allowable amount. Ken thought since he waited until his full retirement age, there were no restrictions on how much he could earn. So he'll call Lewis back and see about that snafu! Hopefully it's a snafu... this paying in every year is starting to get old fast! We'll get a refund from State, but 0nly about 1/3 what we owe to Federal! What a racket! UGH! It's funny... when we head to SC or NC or even FL, we don't worry about sunscreen... but Az is definitely different, I guess! LOL Yes, ankle swelling is gone, not much peeling, LOTS of lotions and oils being used this week! LOL
Jo: Thanks for starting us off this morning - are you working a part day? Oh I do hope you can get some sleep while you are away. Hopefully the drive through the mountains will be sunny and relaxing. Hey being away - is being away, no matter the weather. Fingers crossed it isn't all bad. Safe travels {{{hugs}}} Sorry Colaguard was a PITA... I agree, I will stick to the colonoscopy here! LOL Of course for me, they will also continue the Upper Endoscopy too, so as long as I have to prep for one, I may as well get them both done together!
I grabbed the chicken thighs because they were so much cheaper this time. BJs had a sale! LOL Eh' I actually prefer the breasts, but can live with thighs here and there. Adds to my calorie and fat goals. I didn't realize you were doing WL shots. Glad they help with the alcohol, but hope they don't decrease your appetite too much.
UGH, the guy yesterday never showed up for the kitchen estimate! Ken called him and left a message, but geeze, if he can't remember to come for the estimate - I'm not sure I am too anxious to have him come do the work! We'll see. It wasn't that long ago... about 10 years. We pulled out our old crappy "pine" cabinets and put in nice new white ones. We added a few cabinets, and redid the floor and counters. Issue is, when we did the counters - we didn't do them correctly (apparently)! Some have started to bow and warp, and the ones by the stove are not level any longer! So... we will keep the cabinets, add 2 more base cabinets, and they will have to add a toe kick heater (?) because we would be blocking the current baseboard heat. We will also make the island a little smaller and center it better. I also want to cut the wall behind the fridge, so the fridge can slide back another 6-10", so it is lined up with the cabinets beside it. In doing that, they will have to add a "header" board above the fridge and then rebuild the walls around it, so it will be more of a built in? Maybe? LOL Then flooring. Once we move the island we will need to replace flooring, so we'll have them do a nice LVP. Oh and the countertops... we will get a nice Quartz counter top, and a new sink. Still trying to decide what style sink, but we need a new one. Something/somehow made a weird stain in the stainless sink. NO CLUE what it is/was but if we are doing the rest, we may as well spring for a new sink. Contemplating a white apron sink, with one side deeper than the other. Matt had one and I loved it... also need new faucet. Anyway... we'll see. I plan on doing some of the demo work myself, to save some $$ and time.
Oh Jo, good for you seeing a therapist, and the nutritionist, and following through with no alcohol! Enjoy your time away ♥
Gabrielle: YAY for warmer weather!! We are warmer also, but expecting rain. When I get home from the Dr. appointment, I will start to get my front porch set up - if not too cold. DH got the new lights hung Monday, so I can get the furniture back to being useable now! Yikes, Meg sold her house and has to be out in 30 days?? Is she looking to buy? Just downsizing? So much to deal with!! Fingers crossed the tax appointment goes well.
OMGosh yes... I feel like I should NOT just be watching TV or reading, that I should be DOING something!
OK Time to get moving here. Need to track my breakfast then get ready to head out around 12:30 to meet Tracy with a few things she needs for her trip this weekend. Then my annual physical is at 1:30. I will try to remember to stop at Staples to drop off an Amazon return. I forgot it yesterday! Then home to hopefully get the front porch set up.
♥hugs♥
