C81. D13. Week 26 of maintenance. TRE and some therapeutic fasting. Was very close to a binge a few days ago. I got into the saltine crackers and ate 1/2 a sleeve. My blood glucose rose drastically, crashed, and has remained high now for a couple days. I'm learning a lot from my continuous glucose monitor.
Nancy - how wonderful that Grace is coming and you have a fun day planned. It like the blouse- perfect for spring! When is the rehearsal dinner and where?
Lori- way to go on getting on all those steps!!! Sounds like you are doing really well and back on track.
I took the Maintenance Master Class and learned a ton. It's a good reminder that maintenance involves effort and with my prediabetes I need.to continue therapeutic fasts in perpetuity. Like one 42 hour fast per week (dinner Sunday night to breakfast Tuesday morning for example).
And Nancy, you're right. There was an emphasis on the food to maintain, which is a low carb meals (still no snacks).
Oh!! Big take away from my continuous glucose monitor is that STRESS is a major factor for me. On vacation my readings were consistently 15-20 points lower tham my work-life.
On the road for 11 days. 2500 miles.of driving, Multiple hotels in multiple states. Will.be fun and I have good books on audible.

C134D1 - table tennis and the gym this morning - editing most of the afternoon - then Canasta tonight.
Kathy - 2500 miles, Ouch! I don't know where the rehearsal dinner will be. Grace will be here on Saturday, so that's when I'll get all the details. It's great that you're learning so much from the Maintenance Master Class. Of course learning and applying are two different things. Anxious to hear how you do on the applying side. Me, not so much.

The week is zipping right along. Monday was such a fun day, and the weather was a pleasant surprise. The full eclipse was simply amazing. Eating is going pretty well. I’m working to fit lots of veggies and fruit into what I eat. I’m planning to sit down with my 2 new cookbooks tonight to find some fun things to make this weekend for the week ahead.
Nancy, I love the blouse! So fun that Grace will be there this weekend. I’m glad you’re relaxing a bit about your eating. I think a break will be good for you.
Kathy, yikes on all the driving! I do agree, though, hotels are fun.
Lori, nice step count! We are getting nonstop rain today and tomorrow.
Meg, I hope you’re doing well.

Hi guys. Trying for 18/6 and one planned treat today. sausage & bean soup is in the crock pot. Kitchen will be CLOSED after dinner. Still fighting this cold, but I don't feel too bad except low energy. Grateful it's not worse.
Waving to everyone. Peace.

Jan - Nice upbeat post from you. I LOVE it!
Meg - Sorry about the cold but glad it's not more bothersome. How did the 18/6 go?
