Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Another rainy day, but temps will be in the 70s.
Ruth - sorry to hear the Wild are out of the playoffs. Sabres are out too, 13 years in a row. That’s probably why I don’t follow them anymore.
Busy day ahead at work. Left a lot of my work since we closed early yesterday. One of the sales managers gave us a new project, Tammy and are are splitting things between the 2 of us.
I have 2 days of PTO that I need to use by May, so I’m taking off tomorrow and the last Friday of April.
Enjoy your day

Joyce, did you get to go to the dinner or just get out early because the dealership was closed. You hadn’t mentioned the boss much lately, sorry she is in such a mood, makes working tough. Enjoy your days off.
Ruth, sounds like you had a very productive day. Nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun on your deck. We got our chairs out today but the weather won’t cooperate for several days for sitting outside.
Martha, nice to be able to walk to the library.
We arrived home safely and on time. DS#2s DGF picked us up at the airport. DS was teaching a class when we arrived. It was nice to catch up with her. DSs called/texted but we probably won’t see them till next week. My SUV had a flat – we knew the one tire kept getting flat before we left. Bill’s car had a dead battery. Since the car is over 5 years old Bill just decided to replace the battery. He tried charging and jumping it with no success. This morning he took care of his car and I got the tire (had a nail in it) fixed on my SUV. It has been raining since – supposed to rain hard this evening. We are going out to dinner, but early before the bad rain starts.
The condo was fine, it wasn’t even very dusty. I did some shopping yesterday afternoon and more this morning after I got my tire fixed but of course there are still things we need. I want to go to Sam’s tomorrow and then we should have most of the things we need at least for a week or so. We both emptied our suitcases and stored our luggage in the storage area on the second floor. I also have been working on setting up files for 2024 and going thru the 2023 paperwork. Some I save but did manage to add quite a bit to the recycling bin.

Good afternoon. I am so frustrated. Called insurance and explained yet again about the acupuncture bills not being paid. Never mind “not in a timely fashion”, this is not at all yet. They are still “in progress”! And, there is no way to directly contact the claims department. And customer service has to send them messages, they can’t call them directly either! 🤬. I can’t believe that appts back in Nov & Dec still haven’t been paid in mid-April. And now he has 3 more appts pending payment also. If we didn’t have coverage, it would be one thing, but we do have. I’d like to try it but not until we get Stan’s paid for. We’re out $630 so far. Gives me a headache. The gal I talked to today said she’d call the gal I worked work back in March and have her call me and let me know what she found out when she contacted them today. I’m waiting for that call.
In other news……….
Worked on our DS/Mara’s laundry last night and got it pretty much done. Need to fold the t-shirts that I partly dry on hangers so they don’t shrink. And I need to match up Mara’s school clothes for next week. I picked up some new more summery things and I’ll put a few of those in also. He didn’t send the sorter so I may wait to return hers until we have her this weekend and he can get it to me when we pick her up.
Today I’m doing our laundry. And I hope to get downstairs and finish up the donation for the neighbor. I haven’t felt like getting down there, but I sure need to. There’s a charity pick up in the neighborhood next Friday and I’d love to have a couple bags for that.
Joy, the Wild have made the play-offs most years in the last 11 or 12; but they have exited the first round way too often. All but once. So frustrating. But we have a half dozen young players who are outstanding and we just need to have some good experienced players around them. It’s fun to watch these young guys just take charge and win games. Next couple years should be fun.
Hope Dottie is home and getting settled in. Before you know it they’ll be opening up the lake house and going there for weekends.
Waving to Martha. Sure hope you are feeling better. I’m wondering if some of my headaches are from the high pollen counts we are already getting. Might have to look into an air purifier for our bedroom.
Not much else going on here. Stan went in to boxing and I’m trying to finish our laundry, get DS’s ready to return and go down and collect more stuff for the pick up. If I get all of that done today I’ll be happy. Not feeling great again. And not sure why!
Have a good day all. More tomorrow!

Ruth, I guess we were posting at the same time. Sorry to hear about the insurance problem. That is terrible. I had the same problem with getting the correct code so our hearing aids would be covered. Once I had the correct code it was paid quickly but it took several calls and tries to get the correct code. Hope this gets cleared up soon for you. I know I will get headaches from pollen and also when a big storm is heading our way. Always something. Feel better.
