Bee- sending prayers and a warm hug
Cathy- hope that todayβs outing goes smoothly. Is this a new destination for you and Rosalie? Good that you can buy more credits for your phone. Gives you a solid backup plan for when internet services is out or spotty.
LaDonna- is the excitement building for Lakenβs final phase of moving into her new home? How wonderful to know that Randy and you have played an integral role in this moment. Amazing accomplishment for all involved! Lol. . . Will you give yourself a bit of briefer before tackling your own house after the move? Or are you inching to get started?
MJ- great news for John. Will keep praying for him. It had to be a relief for him, his loved ones, and friends. Lol. . . Imagine food disappearing from a fridge when a 18-yr old young man is hanging out? Yep, those snacks disappear so quickly. Would love to see a ShopRite discount cabinet. We, too, have a βnot muchβ dayβ if we choose.
Susi- fantastic assessment from NP! You probably could be the poster girl for this type of operation. Sounds like you will be in great shape for May 23rd. Makes a huge difference when the patient like you does the PT at home and has a positive, can-do attitude.

Fridayβs intentions Work on meals or snacks to clear out the leftovers in the fridge. Be mindful of drinking more water. I tend to fall off the wagon. Decide what housework to accomplish.

June - I'm with you on falling off the wagon a bit on the water. I'm trying to be more conscious of it. Once the weather warms up, it is no problem.
I printed out a picture from 9 years ago of Barbara's 1st grandson's baptism. It's her mom, her, her 2 daughters and grandson. I'm going to frame it and take it to the celebration of life tomorrow.
S - Usual coffee B - Over easy egg on 647 cheese toast over arugula with evoo and lemon L - Salmon volcano roll (thank you Shoprite markdown) D - Lemon chicken with artichokes E - Walking and stretching

LOL on falling off the water. Sometimes I have to be hogtied to drink water.
We are expecting a sunny day here. We need it so the puddles will dry up.
Hope ALL have a great day!

Susi What a lovely gift and remembrance for Barbara. β€οΈ Have never been a water drinker, because I donβt like cold drinks. But I am trying to pour a glass and let it sat near me.
Bee I know that some people like fizzy waters. I think I would prefer something like hot lemon water or room-temperature, fruit infused water. I want to drink more water to get a better lower diastolic number. My PCP told me that drinking more water would help.

Good morning almost afternoon,
This may sound crazy but my hands feel so much better after getting the cortisone injections for the carpel tunnel/trigger finger ordeal - and because of this I believe other aches and pains I was having has diminished! The tendon inflammation was wearing me down but since my hands feel better I just have such a sense of all over wellness that I did not have. I do believe when when one portion of our body is malfunctioning it affects all - I've heard it and now I've experienced it...anyway I'm working remotely today because the traveling vet is coming by for Lucy's well ck up and this weekend I'm going to be super busy with stuff going on at my church and at Laken's place. If I'm MIA you'll know why
June, LOL no I'll work on my place as time permits...no breaks here. Can't wait to share pics. Add me to the non water drinkers...very interesting about the BP numbers...I could benefit from that as well.
Susi, sounds like your ck went great. Nice that you had that picture you could print and carry with you. It will mean a lot.
Bee, its sunny here but the wind is bending the trees. My windchimes sound so nice right outside the door I'm working beside.

LaDonna- very happy to hear that your overall sense of well- being improved after your most recent cortisone treatment. Perhaps we learn to accept some chronic discomfort until a new ache or pain manifests.
Glad you do not feel stressed about reorganizing your house once Laken is living in her new home. Lol. . . W//our projects I find that what bothers me most is that I cannot find things as readily. I am absolutely ready for things to be back in place or in a logical new place.
My PCP and I talked about the BP and current standards set by Medicare, heart doctors, and kidney doctors. My numbers are in sync, except for the desired diastolic rate (74) established by kidney doctors. For whatever reason, my intuition tells me to pay attention. I can βfixβ this by drinking more water. I like that ideaβ no pill, no true expense, just do something that is fundamentally beneficial & relatively easy. It can become a habit.

LOL Bee. LaDonna - It's amazing how pain in one spot can radiate throughout the whole body. So glad the shots are helping you!

I swear I started to post much earlier today. I guess that's when things started to go nutzNutzNUTZ.

Yesterday Toots & I went to ShopRite while the Kressling was here for breakfast. There wasn't much in the markdowns that appealed, but we did get some pot roast and some chicken marsala - AND we found a small pork loin roast in the meat section (not inexpensive but we'll get two meals out of it). And I still have that chicken to roast up.
The Kressling graced us with his presence after both shifts yesterday and then MissMouse and the Mice came in around 6:30 so Pippin had LOTS of playtime. He dragged MissMouse out for a walk but quickly turned around - it was raining hard enough that his floof was getting soggy. I had a feeling that I needed to keep this Saturday free, and we were able to add in some DivaTaxi for the Mouseketeer since MousekeTWO will have a baseball tournament at the same time as karate/jiu jitsu.
Today's big meal (see how I did that, LOL) was chicken marsala with extra mushrooms, mashed potato, and green beans. It ended up being an evening meal.
Coffee... βββ... need coffee...
π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π± Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±
MπΊB&T: I forgot (yes, truly - and y'all KNOW how I'm a DivaπElephant Who Doesn't Forget) to finish up the two Weeklies. T wasted her time setting one up and then messaged me about them. Silly her! I finished them off this morning. <meh>. I had a free Grammarly subscription (7/3/2022) that inexplicably stopped providing weekly feedback at the end of February - right when the marketing for the fourth release kicked off. I think it was yet-another "sign" that this project has reached the end of its life cycle for me. I really should take some time to line up all the bits as to why I'm "done". Part of me knows that it will have NO effect on MB's path going forward since he surrounds himself with ppl who "don't say NO". Part of me doesn't want to waste my time doing it. Part of me doesn't want to waste emotional energy on it. However, part of me knows that if I do an analysis I can close the door on this with no regrets and no second-guessing. Still contemplating. Still detaching. <double meh>.
