Hey all,
I am sort of on the mend but not really yet. Still not sleeping well and still coughing a lot. I am on my last day of meds so hope I have turned the corner. I am a bit worried about lungs because congestion is way down into lungs. If it gets worse, I'll get a chest x ray. Still have a sinus pressure headache. Sorry to whine - this has gone on two weeks now. I remember hearing about both of you - Sue and Pam having similar issues a while back.
We have lousy weather - windy, very rainy and just unpleasant but I'm inside so guess it's not too important.
Sue, how is your patient? I know you must be very busy taking care of him and when I don't hear, I worry about you. Hang in...Pam, what is new in LA? I worried about you when I heard about the tornadoes in your area. Hope you weren't affected.
Nothing on the agenda for the weekend except to try to get better. Our cleaning lady is here today. I am isolating from her. She is a Godsend to us both. Really makes our lives better. It's just once every two weeks but a big difference in taking a burden off us. We also have a few other home cleaning projects for the spring and lawn stuff in the works. Hired a new lawn service just for fertilization and crabgrass etc. My DH is a real stickler about not using pesticides - I feel the same way but we will have one small applicaton for crabgrass We spent so much $$ on planting a big new lawn when we built the house two years ago and we want to keep it up. I also have the window cleaners and deck power washing company coming soon. So, things will be spiffed up for summer - plus carpet cleaners. I think the older we get the more we are willing to part with money for services that are getting to be too hard for us these days.
DH loves flower gardening as a hobby and that's where his heart is. He also wants to do his own mowing this summer since he had the tractor services and ready to go. Last year we used a mowing service but he is anxious to do his own thing this year. PIck and choose, right?
