Yoga on the grass - sometimes the fitness center will hold yoga or other exercise classes outdoors, but have not yet so far this year.
There's some rain in the forecast, I'll be listening to rain and I'll keep an eye out if the conditions are right for a rainbow. (I usually remember to look if conditions are right.)
Had a hammock growing up, enjoyed being outside, reading.
I am noticing trees budding, grass turning green and hearing different bird songs.
Thanks all, for your conversations and comments this week.

Went to an old house that had been refurbished and enjoyed brunch with friends. It is nice to do something different for a change.

Listen to the rain. * I enjoy listening to the rain. When I was a child my Parents bedroom was a room attached to the back of the house and had a tin roof. It was very pleasant to listen to the rain falling on that tin roof.
Watch bumblebees at work in a garden. *My garden is further away from my house so I don't hear them unless I'm out there. However there is a crabapple tree out by my greenhouse, and when the tree is blooming there is a constant hum of various tones coming from that tree. All different kinds of bees.
Notice the trees budding. * Most of the trees are budding. The lilac bushes are the most noticeable. The leaf buds on some of the trees are much smaller.
Seek out a rainbow. * I've seen lots of rainbows. The most spectacular one I ever saw was when we were living out in Washington. My daughter and I were driving along a street and the rainbow was off to the side of the way we were driving. I was the passenger so I had the best view. The sky was very dark behind it and the rainbow had the most vivid colors I had ever seen. They were very distinct between each color and the whole scene was just gorgeous. It extended all the way across the sky until the buildings obscured it. And I didn't have a camera. This was before cell phones existed for the average person. But I don't need a picture, it is still very vivid in my memory.
Listen to the birds singing. * I've seen birds this spring, but I haven't heard any of them singing yet, not even the robins. To me, spring isn't here until the meadowlarks come. About 2014 or so we kept hearing one meadowlark that never learned how to sing. He would go CHIRP,CHIRP, chirp, chirp with no melody at all. Even now some of his descendants don't have very melodic songs, not like the meadowlarks sounded before the chirpy one came.
Go bare-legged. * I always go bare-legged, but I always wear long pants too. Shorts I will only wear around home when I'm alone. My legs and arms are as old aged looking as I am, even more so than my face. I wear long sleeves too when I go anywhere.
Feel the sun on your face. * That I do. I sometimes sit outside in the sun and have my morning coffee.
Leave your windows open to catch a spring breeze. * I will do that too, as long as it is just a light breeze and not windy.
Pet a bunny. * No bunnies to pet around here. There are cottontail rabbits that are my arch-enemies and I do everything I can to get rid of them. They are cute little things and if they come around during the times they are only eating things that I haven't planted or hasn't come up yet, I'll tolerate them. Otherwise, no holds barred.
See all the Oscar-winning movies. * I'm not much on Oscars. Sometimes I'll watch one that sounds interesting and is online. Right now I've been watching Oppenheimer, but I haven't had the time to finish it yet. So it is waiting for me to finish.
Send someone other than your mom a Mother's Day card. * I send Mother's Day cards to my daughters. They are both mothers. I send Father's Day cards to my sons too. My oldest son is a Catholic priest, so he is a "Father" in title and to his parishioners. I will look for an appropriate one that isn't particularly geared to biological children.
Wear comfortable open-toed shoes. * No shoes are especially comfortable on my feet. I have bunions so it's hard to find anything that is comfortable. I will wear open toed slip on sandals sometimes around home.
One of the things to do in the article mentioned bird watching. A few minutes ago I was watching several partridges running around in my yard in different directions and changing directions, and a couple of them squabbling before they all ran off the yard to where I couldn't see them.

Rain is not the "light" kind I remember from my younger days. Southern California normally doesn't get rain in the spring; however, we've had thunderstorms as recently as a few days ago. It's not pleasant to listen to that...
Bees love the rosemary in my yard. Sometimes I have to wait for some to leave before I can cut some I want to use that day... They don't make enough noise to listen to...
I've been looking for trees budding... Haven't seen many...
Have seen my share of rainbows too. Wonderful!
I listen for singing birds. They're later than in previous years...
I wear jeans in the winter and shorts in the summer. It's not warm enough yet to go bare-legged.
When the sun is shining, I always turn my face toward it.
We rarely leave windows open. If it's a really nice day, sometimes we'll leave the door open.
I wouldn't touch any animal that lives in the open. The last time I petted a bunny, it was someone's pet.
We watch a lot of movies that play either on the Turner Classic Movies channel (we record what we're interested in seeing) or when the "pay" stations (like HBO) offer a long weekend of free viewing. I haven't seen Oppenheimer yet and really want to. (I watched Barbie a few weeks ago; cute, but glad I didn't go to the movie theaters and spend a lot of movie to see it when it was new.)
I doubt there's anyone alive who's older than my mother would have been had she still been alive. She was born in Send someone other than your 1908...
I have one pair of sandals that I wear only sometimes.
Thanks, jasimons , Judy, for such an interesting week! I'm ready to start the thread beginning tomorrow.

One of the best things about living in this area is that we have 4 distinct seasons. (sometimes we seem to have all 4 in one day)LOL. Spring here is lovely.
Sometimes, I sit on my back porch & listen to the rain. As long as it's now a blowing wind, I don't get wet & I love it. When I was a child, we had a house with a tin roof & I used to love to sleep listening to the rain.
We have 5 birdhouses in our back yard. 4 of them are pretty close to the porch, we always enjoy sitting out there & watching them build their nests & feed their babies, they seem to build twice every year & often come back to the old nest. We have bluebirds, wrens & robins & some others that have a yellow spot on their breasts, not sure what they are. We also have a lot of cardinals, but they nest in the woods behind us, they don't build in bird houses. Seems as though we see different birds that are not native to our area. They are coming further north due to the climate change.
About the only window that I ever open is one in our main bathroom. I do open the doors a bit on a good day.
The bunnies that I see here are wild rabbits. I would be afraid to try to touch one. I haven't petted a bunny in a very long time.
I wear sandals in the summer, can't stand the flip flop thing between my toes, so I wear other types.
