Not sure how we could almost be half way through the month of April. Before we know it, May will have arrived.

Sundayβs intentions Decide what dinner will be: lots of options! Finish laundry. Be active outside. Should be a pleasant day. Assist R if needs a hand to install a new handle on the porchβs storm door. Have a Tarot reading and also a Tarot lesson. Itβs always interesting.

Good afternoon! It is a cool slightly overcast day today. My husband was out in the morning with someone who plowed land for our nieces. He still needs to find time for the plow to come and do our land but wasn't up to doing it today. I made rice and steamed cauliflower then took out some broad beans in tomato sauce from the freezer and defrosted them to have for the protein then had a portion of pomelo for dessert. I will stay OP, track everything, and get myself back on program and moving down on the scale again! I am visualizing the number I want to see on the scale and will make it happen!
We talked to our daughter last night. They are unpacking boxes they have had stored in their garage for several years now, setting up their kitchen, using the bathrooms and showers in the new house, having their stored furniture delivered to the house this week and will be buying a new bed and living room furniture soon so they can move into the house and live there as soon as possible. Hope to talk to our son and his family tonight.
The situation is fine where we are. The embassy did send out a circular recommending vigilance, checking news updates, and avoiding borders. The airport canceled many flights overnight and are allowing in four flights today. Not sure if more will come and go or not. We are fine where we are and don't expect any issues to arise for us.
Wishing all of us positive days to come!

Cathy Visualizing is one of the most effective tools. When you can βseeβ it, you can βdoβ it. You have had great success so far. KOKO. Thx for letting us know about the state of security where you live. Will continue to pray for peace in the region. Hope Mounahβs contact can plow your land soon. Here the land is so wet, plowing must wait if it hadnβt happened already. We have had a fair amount of rain in the past week. Hoping that the warmer temperatures help out our area farmers. Your DDβs new home will soon be in order. Will be quite amazing when they have everything in place.

<oh, ferPete'Sake>. I misplaced the day again.
Saturday? There was a Saturday? Feels more like SEVERAL days smooshed into one!
The YM color guard gig went off just fine. Toots & I loaded the flags and rifles, and at the last minute I decided to put the two marching harnesses into my black backpack. J3 - three brothers, last name Joseph - were ready to roll out and we got to the location on schedule. So did one other YM and his mama (also a YM-AV). The gig was in a high-ceilinged room this year so we were able to march the flags at full height (i.e., with the harnesses π). The oldest, YM/CPL J, wasted no time in taking the lead in prepping the others while we waited for the YM/GySGT and his mom (the YM/XO-YM/TO) to arrive (they didn't make it; the alarm clock didn't go off and she called me at 8:49 AM). Ceremony was at 9 AM, presentation of certificates to the YM followed, and we were back in our cars by 9:30. It was for the Marine Corps League 2024 Northeastern Division Conference. A head honcho from YM/HQ in DC plus the YM/Div1 commander & XO were in attendance π§. The XO, who is an AV in our unit, complained that "he didn't know" that the YM would be there. Well, we didn't know that HE would be there, and he's not in any way part of the color guard task. <meh>. I just smile and keep going.
After I got J3 home, I headed to the MousekeHouse where Toots was standing by. We got the Mouseketeer out the door and to his karate/jiu jitsu classes for 11:15 AM and then went to IHOP for a late breakfast. We picked him up at 1 PM, got him Taco Bell for lunch, and came back here so Toots could take a nap. We headed back to the MousekeHouse at 3:30 PM, where Toots just picked up his car and came back here and I stayed so the Mouseketeer could show me his computer. I was there until after 5 PM, when we knew that MissMouse & Spouse and MousekeTWO were on their way back from baseball and I didn't want to be blocking their driveway. They didn't get home until closer to 7 PM but they were in touch with CJ and he was fine (he's 13 now, and is allowed to be at home by himself). That boy can TALK. Just like his uncle (Son#1), he is way deep into computer stuff, but from a speed and graphics perspective. But he also showed me πΆπΈ guitar riffs πΈπΆ that he's learning and I actually said something vaguely computer-esque that HE will apply to his own system.
By the time I got home (napless, mind you), I barely managed to eat my IHOP leftovers before I headed to bed, planning to watch Midsomer Murders and then the Poirot episode at 9 PM. Didn't happen. I woke up twice overnight (basically just to check the clock) and finally got up 6-ish.
Today? CinderElla/Fella tasks to get ready for the week. I have one YM email, limited distribution to those who are going on the 4/19 trip to JB-MDL (McGuire AFB). I have two other flyers that I may send out as drafts to the CO & XO for review; one releases on Wednesday night and the other can go out at any time but should, perhaps, tie into what the fundraising officer is doing.
NASCAR Cup series (TX Motor Speedway) ran at 3:30 PM. I totally missed the Xfinity race yesterday but I found a replay this morning.
Today's big meal? I. Wanted. Chicken.
Coffee... βββ... time for the evening mug...
π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π± Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±π·βοΈπ·π±
