This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good Morning Everyone... I slept well (and I haven't for awhile so that is good). Maybe I was so worn out from the zoo trek with the grands - lol! Nothing much planned for today except church and lunch at the new Panera next to us. Just wanted to get us started...off for more coffee

Hello, friends!
Susie - thanks for starting us. A good night of sleep surely does make a difference, doesn't it? Enjoy your day and your Panera lunch.
I'm super jealous of Susie as I had a terrible night with very like and very broken up sleep. That's 2 in a row for me, so hoping tonight will be much better. It's pretty quiet around here today. I'm not sure that we're doing anything of note. DH is doing a little yard work and I'm mostly just doing stuff inside at the moment. But, no real plans for anything further.
I hope everybody will be having a lovely Sunday!

Hi Everyone,
Went to the gym as I have been for the last several Sundays or sometimes on Saturday. I planned to go down to the store where I got the glasses from but when looking at their website discovered they aren't open today.
So Another thing I realized is that my medical plan doesn't cover any vision benefits. It usually has covered some and I guess I didn't realize that it didn't. It offered an optional plan which I may have decided to enroll had I realized my plan didn't cover. So many other people said that the previous optional vision insurance they offered wasn't good because they couldn't find places near them to cover them. I am not sure what plan was offered this time. Not that I can do anything about enrolling now but just curious about which program was offered. I may be able to go back into the benefits enrollment and see.
When I am able to get to the vision store I will see if there is any possibility of just getting the lenses put into the older frames since I now don't have the vision coverage. I think my older sister may have vision coverage from maybe AARP. I'll ask her about it.
My sister's family is okay for now. Thank goodness! My one nephew is in Australia and isn't able to fly back yet to Isreal.
I plan to read and then cook chicken for dinner. I haven't decided which chicken I want to cook cornflake or the kind with the onion mix, dressing and appreserves although I think I am leaning towards the cornflake chicken. They are both easy to make. Have a nice day. Bbl

Susie, I LOVE Panera. What did you order? Whatever they have, it is always good. Lora,in the "not sleeping well club" too. I hope you have a good day and tonight will be better. Janet, that'd good news that your sister's okay. I don't have vision insurance, and I have heard that that's okay. The amount we spend on glasses and vision appointments is less than I'd spend on insurance. Medical will cover vision surgeries and such. I'm home again today, which is good. I think I turned a corner last night, which gives me hope. Maybe the meds have kicked in. But I'm but sleeping at night due to the Albuterol and Prednisone, I'm pretty sure. Maybe tonight I will. I do feel better than yesterday. Waving hi to all!

Lora - I have been sleeping terribly lately, so last night was nice.
Jill - lunch was good - I got the Southwest Chicken Ranch - it is a new update. DH got a You Pick 2 of soup and sandwich. Glad you are feeling a little better - me too, but it is seeming to take forever.
Janet - I have been watching the news...glad your DS is OK.

Decided to make my cornflake chicken. I didn't have a can of sweet potatoes and planned to use the sweet potato I bought anyway. I made it like as if I had a can and put some crushed pineapple and some crushed walnuts and almost forgot to put cinnamon on it then added a few marshmellows and put in the microwave for a minute or so. This was after I cooked the sweet potato. I also made carrots salad but realized that my raisins were really old. I checked the date on the box. It said 2022 so definitely time. Lol! Tommorow I have a doctor appointment with my primary doctor. They called me to reschedule it back in late February. Just a routine visit. I'll ask for prescriptions for my mammogram and bone density test since they are due sometime in June.
