I CAN: Track every BLT, Hydrate, Stay Positive, Make Healthy Choices, Check In with My Sister at the end of the day.
I caught a cold somewhere while out and a bout. I had trouble sleeping last night because it seems I cannot breathe through my mouth while sleeping and my nose was stuffed up. I finally gave up on sleeping, decided to read, and the electricity was cut SO tried again to sleep and at least got a nap in...sort of.
I have beans soaking that I will rinse then put into the pressure cooker and probably then make into a Mexican themed bowl for lunch using up some of the cabbage, a green pepper-tomato-garlic-onion for salsa, reheat leftover rice, and make a yogurt-labne sauce using some garlic as a dressing for the salad.
My husband brought in oranges and pomelo from the garden so reset to Better Balance/Blue program so I can get in the vitamin C without guilt over points.
I visualized the number I will see at goal weight when I stepped on the scale this morning. There is a ways to go but the scale was down from yesterday.
It will be a good week!

Mj- read your post yesterday, but wanted to respond to it on today’s thread. No wonder you “misplaced” a day— your Saturday was jam packed! Glad that the YMs successfully executed their color guard duty. While I don’t know any of them, I am proud of them. Wonderful to their service and sill-building. Love that your DGS CJ wanted to share his passions with you. Lol— imagine that, you had a PC trick that he wants to try. I laughed when I pictured his guitar riffs. Would have enjoyed seeing his musical exhibition. Hope you had the chicken dinner you wanted.

Cathy Sorry to hear that you picked up a cold. Hope it doesn’t hang around long. Maybe a nap will happen today. Great mindset and goals for the day! Happy that the scale moved in the direction that you are visualizing. Mmmmm. . . Sun-ripened oranges sound heavenly. Nice to have an option for enjoying them without stressing about points. GL with your book reviewing.

Monday’s intention Enjoy a relaxing second cup of tea, then decide today’s menu. Bubble bath. Check my YSU e-mail. I will need to stay current on the security and ethics certifications if I might teach in the fall. Make some health insurance phone calls. Rather than be irritated, I will practice gratitude that I have health insurance.
sending hugs and prayers to all

I need to go back and read the past 2 days before I can do personals
It was a mixed weekend. It started with Lily having diarrhea Friday. I ended up having to throw her bed out. Gave her just a small amount of dry food. Still woke up to a mess in the living room, dining room and kitchen Saturday morning. Fortunately not on the rugs. But it required scrubbing on my hands and knees as it had mostly dried. Got her out for an extra long walk to try to get it all out of her system. Still limited her food. Went to the memorial service for Barbara's mom. It was very nice, as was the repast after. I did a quick check on Lily, who seemed fine and went over to Barbara and Nick's. It was just the 3 of us for 4 hours. Very nice time. Got home to just a small mess in the dining room and gave her another long walk. Yesterday I was in so much pain from all the scrubbing that after I fed the ferals, walked her (no mess) and had a cup of coffee, I took some meds and went back to bed. At noon, Carol and I went over to see Marge. She is going through the angry stage so we just let her vent. Then we got her outside in the sunshine since it was such a beautiful day and she started feeling and looking better. Wasn't in the mood to go shopping after that so I will have to go after work. Got home and Lily was fine and has been fine since. Still kept her on the rice and dry kibble for another day just in case. I'm still quite sore this morning but not as bad as yesterday. Tylenol is fortunately kicking in.
S - Usual coffee B - Carrot cake oatmeal with cream cheese "frosting" L - Ham and provolone on 647 wheat, southwest salad kit D - I have lo chicken marsala from the repast but I'm not feeling it at the moment E - Walking and stretching

Susi Whatttta weekend! It is amazing that you could physically handle scrubbing your floors so soon after shoulder surgery. Your hard work w/ PT and pre-surgery exercise routine & fitness. Hope that the soreness fades quickly. Glad that you could have a pleasant, quiet visit with Barbara & Nick. So kind of you & Carol to just let Marge “be” with her feelings. That kind of supportive friendship is rare and precious. Crossing my fingers that Lily has passed through “whatever” set up her loose bowels.

Sun is shining. Have finished all my calls— with good results! Insurance approved both the neuro MRA & MRI. My costs will be minimal. Both the scans & 2nd consult are set for May. So, the process of discovery & elimination are moving forward. Happy about that!
Time to check my work e-mail, then off to do something else.

Hi all, Was a busy weekend and now back at the work desk..nvr a dull moment...I could use another day off just to do nothing but I know that would never happen. I don't like being unproductive with my time anyway I did peek in some over the weekend and read posts. Our church FR was very successful and the youngs of the church will be allowed to get the screens they want. I don't nesc care for those but if it makes them happy I'm for it. I spent the first two nights with Laken in her house and she flew solo last night. I promised pics but still got a ways to go with some clean up etc...soon June, Im glad you have your appts scheduled and costs are minimal. Your insurance must be better than mine...nothing we do is minimal copays anymore seems like. I hope you will get to teach again if that's what you want. It was wonderful for you and R to have this time to get your house in order. Love your attitude regarding not getting frustrated and being grateful. Cathy, all sounds good and I hope your cold will subside quickly!! Ive had more trouble with little colds and viruses this year than I've ever had. I'm taking vita c supplements. Susi, I'm glad Lily seems to be on the mend but what an ordeal and hopefully you will be feeling no pain very soon. My heart goes out to Marge...you are certainly a good friend to her as well as Barbara.

LaDonna Lol. . . If someone had only put me in charge, then I would have given you a paid day off, a spa day, and a cleaning for your house and Laken’s house. Oh, and there would have been a lovely, healthy dinner delivered. How nice for Laken to have your company those first two nights. ❤️ Happy that your fundraiser was successful. From your FB posts, it sounded like a good event. And raffle baskets are always fun to anticipate winning.

~~post-it~~
Every time I thought I had time to post, something else asked for attention.
Family-based stuff. Good stuff (although there will be <ahem> repercussions for the Zigster - more on that in the morning).
