Sounds like this was going to be our last day of spring for a bit. Nice today but temps are going to drop and it's going to start raining probably during the night and all day tomorrow.
Shragae FL..April Showers
Sandy IL...Wanting Spring Warmth
Lin AZ...Spring Allergy
Lucy TX...Enjoying the Warm Sunshine
Nancy IL...Watching Flowers Grow
Connie PA...Pulling Winter Weeds
Kathie CA...The Spring Gardener
Betty MN...Flowers in Bloom
Diane OK...New Routines to Health
Lin, I didn't realize that the SIL that's visiting you is the one who has trigeminal neuralgia. I am so glad that mine is controlled right now. I had the surgery 13 years ago. I don't know if there are different surgeries, but what they were going to do for me was to cut the trigeminal nerve. Dave talked with the surgeon and said we didn't want that done. At the time it was the only way to completely solve the problem. Instead they cushioned the nerve but I still do have breakthrough pain. Tegretol and Gabepentin help a lot.
Sandy, what Dave and I use to do was sit down and make a list of recipes or favorite meals, write a grocery list, buy everything we needed and then each night we would take turns selecting a meal. We would maybe have 10-14 days of meals. Worked for us.
Diane, so good to hear from you and to hear that you're back home. Hip surgery is not easy and then a heart attack too. Are you still having therapy? Take care, we miss you.
Kathie...Sorry you're having to deal with Jims dementia. Dave was incontinent in his final months. Usually he wore Attends but a lot of times he just took it off and I had messes to clean up. Not a pleasant thing for sure.
Was planning on doing some more scrambled words but getting a late and I'm getting tired.
