Hello everyone,
We dropped off DD#2 at the resort. We will pick her up on Sunday morning.
We picked up the lamps today. I put one of them together and put it on hubby’s side of the couch. He was reading a book just now and says it is just fine.
I actually like the new lamp better than the OttLite lamps we have. Shocked because I loved the OttLite ones. The new ones look more antique and blend in well with the house decor. The OttLite ones do look good also but the new ones are a vintage pharmacy lamp design in dark bronze. Happy camper over here.
Had a long talk on the phone today about her leukemia diagnosis. The dr visit went well today. He said right now she is doing fine. Next tests and appointment is in 4 months. He said she may stay this way for a few years. Hopefully that’s the way it will be.

Mar, Good dr report for your friend and fingers and toes crossed for her. Funny how you ended up liking the new lamps better. whole house except me was asleep before nine! Dsil was three hours ahead in time and in pain from the trigeminal neuralgia….like a nerve in a tooth in your face. The nerve block still has nit kicked in. DH did very little except fetch bakery bread ,fold laundry and move his meds to my bathroom and was exhausted. He is awfully tired lately.
dsil cleared table and DH took out garbage
i am hurting a lot…did dog walk this morning, Got mushrooms out of garden before Minni found them, baited for ants and covered with pot too heavy for Minni, cleaned up patio furniture, washed dust off all the snake plant leaves, got supper in the table , did two loads of laundry, deskwork, and finshed drying some dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. Bushed.
DH was going to wash up and get ready for bed in my bath, but he finally realized how long it takes to get any hot water in there in the sinks. So he went to the other when she got out. So I had my bath soak in peace
No idea what we are doing tomorrow, but she will probably sleep late in meds. Dinner will be the Keg, a Canadian steak house chain.
