Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good day!
Yesterday was a blur - nothing major - just gone before I knew it!
Today has been better. I woke up motivated to clean and tackled the living room. It had become a bit of a shambles because we were trying to keep our kitty from getting into things after his surgery. Vacuumed, dusted, sorted some "stuff" (one trash bag leaving!) and rearranged the furniture a little bit. It feels good to have a functional but calm space.
We had a young bobcat in the yard this morning. Very handsome guy!
Joy: my "eggroll-in-a-bowl" turned out pretty okay. I plan to make a few small changes, but otherwise I'd call it a win. I'd love to hear more about your "cheeseburger-in-a-bowl" once you've made it.
Dottie: glad your dishwasher seems to be okay - I'd be lost without mine.
Martha: hope you are still having nice weather - vitamin D sunshine feels so good!
Ruth: I hope you find an exercise program that fits your routine & that you enjoy. Finding motivation to exercise can be challenging. Hopefully you will find something that is fun to do.
Take care everyone!

Bonnie, I think we all have those days that are just a blur. Your functional calm space sounds nice. Very important to have a space like that.
Martha, are you feeling better.
Joyce, hope you are having a good day at work.
Ruth, any luck with your postings? If it is nice even a short walk outside is good for your health.
I had some running around to do this morning. When I got home I was cleaning my windshield, lots of dead bugs from my trips to pick-up/drop off the grands at the half way point. Our neighbor across the street came home before I finished the windshields and I had a chance to talk to her for about 10 minutes, good to catch up. Left over chili for dinner, it is usually better the second night. It smells great, so easy diner. I did one of my exercise DVDs this afternoon, now if I can keep that up.

Good evening all. Typing isn’t real fun right now since I had my eyes dilated about 2 pm. The optometrist was fine for this time. I only saw her for 10 min max! The tech or whatever they are called did 99% of the testing. I got a new prescription and also a prescription for computer glasses. I’ll see the opthomologist next year because she said I’m getting the regular kind of cataract in my left eye (only). Didn’t realize that happens but whatever. So in a few years I may need that kind of cataract taken care of. Having my eyes dilated makes me kind of sick to my stomach!
Dottie, no bites on anything listed so far. Went through yesterday and bumped and refreshed everything I have listed. Hoping for interest. Going to check on a couple other ways of getting rid of stuff too. Gal looking for FP little people and I have some of those and I asked about the Mega Bloks and she can use them for their autism therapy center so she can pick those up in the next couple days. I have to sort out a few of the little people. Blocks are all sorted out. I had them for sale but no takers. I do have 3 garbage bags now to take to the neighbors. I was going to do it a while ago, but no one appears to be home.
DD told me this morning that they signed the contract for their attic/bedroom conversions. Attic to master suite; girls’ rooms both getting changes made. So either tomorrow or Friday we’ll deliver a bunch of boxes I’ve emptied to her. A lot of medium to small will help because she’s cleaning the adult books off their big built in book case in the living room so they can put the kids’ books on them. Girls are reading way more than the parents have time for now. She was really excited.
Hope Joy had a good day at work. Lots to do. Bonnie, we do all have lots of those days. And the older I get, the faster the days all seem to go. Seems it’s Sunday night and I look up and it’s Friday already!! Martha, isn’t the natural vitamin D wonderful. Love it!
Tomorrow I have blood draw first thing in the morning. Won’t eat anything after about 9 pm in case they need a fasting blood draw for anything that’s been requested. You don’t have to for A1C or my thyroid tests but you never know what else has been ordered. I can’t see what they have requested.
Tomorrow afternoon I’m going to visit with my DF while Stan is at boxing class. He missed peddle class today because of his dental cleaning. And he has 3 small cavities so in the morning I’ll have to call and get those scheduled.
Have a good evening all. More tomorrow!

630pm posting Met up with friend, haven't seen him since late sept/oct. Walked around the cemetery for a 90 min or so. He had appt and I walked home with side trip to library. Guesstimate walked 3-4 miles. My hips are letting me know it! When I'm at home, will sit outside for awhile to soak up golden orb in the sky. Tomorrow, will check online for wkly ad for store. Already planned out meals for next week. We have just about finished off the older stuff in freezer. Since I've had oriental food for a couple meals, needing to drink more water. Slosh, slosh, slosh. (((Hugs)))
