This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and welcome to Wednesday! I hope the mid-week hump is treating you kindly.
Well, I woke up this morning with my knee feeling considerably better. It's still a little bit sore and stiff, but there is definite improvement in how it feels and less swelling. DH was off to the dentist this morning. He's having an implant put in where he had a cracked tooth removed last fall.
I hope his implant does better than Jana's first attempt went. I'm pretty sure that if it goes bad, he won't try it again. But, it's a back molar anyway so I don't think it would matter that much either way.
Anyway, not much planned around here today. It's overcast and very grey with storms predicted later today.

Good morning.
This meeting is starting out pretty slow. We had our kick off meeting and now we are just waiting for our turns for our positions. I am in a room with about 30 people and I do not know ANYONE - it is a bit nerve racking for me - right now I am just doing some work and waiting for my turn. The longer I have to wait - the more anxious I get.
Janet sounds like you have quite the mess at work. I have my fingers crossed for you and sending you positive vibes.

Went to my gym class then walked with DD. I skipped Bible Study and am sitting here waiting for a repairman to come. He is supposed to show up bet 9:00 - 1:00 - sure hope he gets here soon! I thought about going to a ladies luncheon - well, I am missing that too. I AM going to mah jongg at 1:00 so I sure hope he gets here soon !!!
Lora - glad the knee is a little better.
Jana - hope all goes well, take a deep breath and TRY to chill.

Jana - maybe this is an opportunity to turn some co-workers into new friends! (says the girl who gets stupid level of social anxiety when I'm around a bunch of people who I don't know, but who seem to know each other...haha) Like Andi was always saying, Feel free to take my advice, I'm not using it. :-D
Susie - Ugh! Repairmen! I hope he comes sooner rather than later.
It's absolutely pouring rain right now. DH is on his way home from the dentist appt. but had to stop off at the pharmacy for and Rx. Since it's pretty much a stay in the house kind of day, I decided to go ahead and work up another batch of beef jerky. Dh and I both are really enjoying it.

Hi Everyone,
Another day in Paradise done.
The post was deleted from this parent's account according to the parent of the other child. Our director wasn't able to find it. For now my teaching partner and I just say hi to the boy and not talking or giving any information that we would do when talking to other parents when they are being dropped off. There always seems to be one. Other than her we don't have any parents that are like this. Thank goodness!! One like her is too many.
I was looking at her fb page and discovered that there is a mutual friend. I was like who would I be mutual friends with this person? It turns out it used to be another teacher that I used to work with at a former job. That was a long time ago.
I know that I or my partner did nothing wrong period. Her opinion of me or of my teaching partner has no worth at all. Both of us have had a lot of experience with teaching children. Just yesterday we had our curriculum specialist observe my circle time with the children and said I did a great job and that our class was a positive place for learning and growth. So there Parent!
