I'm here. Tired and achy with this cold, damp, dreary weather. Slept poorly but at least I woke up today! It will get better. Marge is still in the angry stage and I can't blame her. Doctor told her she is too weak to drive just yet. She still hasn't been assessed. Carol finally was able to get a nurse to go today. Hopefully things will start to look up after that.
S - Usual coffee
B - Full frittata breakfast
L - Ham, swiss, pepperoni in 647 wheat, cucumber salad
D - Air fried buffalo chicken wings, blanched green beans, light blue cheese dressing
E - Walking and stretching

I don't think I'd mentioned this but I'd booked an Air Bnb for memorial day weekend at Fripp Island for all of us. I'd never used ABnB before but it was pretty simple - anyway the older gentleman that contacted me seemed very nice and we had a great conversation. He sent me the rental agreement I sent it back filled out then he promptly CANCELLED -said he'd double booked. Really P'd me off but I guess I can see how it happens. He claims he's been having some issues and just simply forgot to mark it on the calendar. I'm not sure I buy that story. He may have gotten a booking for the entire week and just booted me out but I don't know. I'm out of my money but will get it back within 10 days or so says ABnb but until then its outstanding on my credit card and I don't want to book another til I've been refunded AND that particular weekend is hard to come by now.

Susi, There are internet plans in Laken's area but she's not done researching the best cost efficient for her at this point. Sorry you are hurting and I too don't blame Marge. Hope the nurse can help

Sorry to hear that you were feeling poorly and also had a rough night. My Mom use to say that she could feel the weather in her bones. Hope that you felt better as the day wore on.
Glad that a nurse will soon visit Marge. Hope she soon will be in a better place in mind, spirit, and body.

Ugh! That stinks! Shame that your first ARnB went sideways. Just curious, what did you credit card company say? I don’t understand why there is a 10-day delay when you were cancelled almost immediately. Hate to say this, but that frost my cookies.
You had a great idea to rent a getaway place. If you are looking for a different option, the Great Smoky Mts. is a gorgeous area. We rented cabins @t Clayboughs campground near Seiverville, TN. Close to Dollywood and also the area where R’s parent grew up. They only had a few cabins. They were quite reasonable.

Thursday’s intentions
Goodness gracious. . . I doubt that I could beat this bargain. My ESP said stop at Marc’s, there’s a great bargain in their front deli/meat case. I know to listen. You will not believe this: Fresh, Amish raised, split chicken breast for 99 cents a lb. Two of the three packages had a $1 off coupon. I picked up three packages for a total of $1.61. Yes, you read that correctly.
Delicious. . . Lightly rubbed them with olive oil, sprinkled w/ course salt & black pepper. Baked 45 mins. at 425 degrees. I plan to freeze 2-3 of the breast.
Dinner: baked chix. breast, baked potato, frozen broccoli, fresh strawberries

That's odd LaDonna. I've had it show that it was unavailable for certain dates but never was directly in contact with the owner. Hopefully you'll find another one.

It's late! It's LATE! It's been A Day on top of yesterday, which was ALSO A Day. Tomorrow (YM trip to JB-MDL) will make it THREE and there's a full-day YM drill on Saturday - FOUR!!!
I've added many unexpected errands to the last two days but I think that I'm in a decent place for the next two. And of course I have lists upon lists upon lists.
Pippin is ready to hit the big bed as soon as I head that way.
