Karen, how cLose are you to swimming again?
rough night. years ago I got a case of too tight pelvic muscles. I try not to set that off, but since having it once, it easily happens temporarily. Result is getting up constantly all night because it makes bladder think it always need to go. Managed to sleep finally 6:30-8:30.
So glad today is the day dsil goes of with friends all day!
Yesterday I went to endocrinology local office because the clearance they faxed Friday was not received, and got another faxed and hand carried one! Finally all that is done. That is where I was during the silly shower fiasco yesterday. Dr set up a home care three week visitation from one friend really liked. They do PT three times a week and check in the incision, etc. Also have script for a little ice machine, but will probably have to just order it from Amazon.
glad I keep up with purging in the closet, but I always keep some bigger sized pants for temp setbacks or bloating.
Dsil got rid of all her clothes next size up.well, the med makes her gain weight…at least a size. She had to buy pants to travel and even they are tight. Hope that issue resolves.
i got some if the new wide keg crops from Costco to avoid pressure in the knee incision later. Very comfy but not a style that makes you look better.

Linda, I am glad you get to rest after a restless night. Good news that all is set for surgery and post surgery. I always keep an array of sizes as I am tired of spending money on clothes. I have a pair of wide leg pants I wear at home. As you say, comfy yet not flattering.
Karen, I hope you had a good Osteo session and found everything you need at TJs. Usually early on at farmer’s market there are lettuces, oregano, basil, vegetable and herb sets
Kathy, maybe you can buy a sailor suit for your angry duck. Should be easy to get on with no pants. 😂
I went to doctor. My BP is high normal so I have to monitor it and if it is consistently above 140/90 I have to schedule an appointment. I am waiting for the nurse to call with an ultrasound appointment for my leg. Doctor wants to rule out a clot. He doesn’t think it is but wants to make sure. He believes it’s sciatica and if no blood clot, will set up PT for sciatica.

Thanks for the start, Chele. The doc must be pretty sure it's not a clot or I think he would be a lot more aggressive. Have you had sciatica before? The pain you've been in could cause your BP to elevate. Hope that's the cause. Do you think YS might have vegetable starts for sale? They might be better than what you could get at a big box store. Osteo went well and I may have hit a new high (or close to it) on the core machine. That's been my nemesis for a while. After I post I'll have to check my report.
Linda, what an ordeal with the hot water. Glad it was just "operator error". Does Amazon take scripts? Could Walgreens or someplace order it for you so your insurance would pay for it? Sorry DSIL is having to get a new wardrobe. Traveling in tight pants would be uncomfortable. Do you have any high end thrift stores where she might be able to get a deal on something more comfortable? Good plan to get some wide leg bottoms for post surgery. Will your kaftans be a good option for when you first get discharged?
LOL on Donald Duck, Kathy. We had a similar duck (but very friendly) hanging out with our mallards a few years ago. Apparently someone's Easter pet that got set free and survived. Yours may have been the same. We hit 85 today so I don't want to think what you had. At least our humidity wasn't bad.
Tired and sore. I really pushed it at Osteo and the gym today. Then off to TJ's for mostly produce. I made a really good salad for dinner with the greens, mushrooms, etc., I bought. I think I counted about 15 different vegetables in it. I also picked up more SC strawberries. Very good. We're expecting rain tomorrow, so I'll do what I have to do and get some rest for Saturday. I hope this dog will decide to sleep a little late tomorrow.

Chele, good luck putting a sailor suit on that duck even without pants! 😂 That's good that the doctor thinks the leg problem can probably be treated with PT. Hope all goes well with the ultrasound.
Karen, good point that "Donald" may have been someone's Easter pet. He definitely didn't look like any of the ducks we normally see around here. It's 86° now, so I'm sure we got over 90° today. The AC has been cranking all day. No chance of rain until Monday and then we're supposed to get a few days in the 80s next week. 85° must've felt pretty warm for you. The salad sounds good. I don't normally see SC strawberries here. My favorite time for strawberries is when they have the Florida ones piled up in several places and they're really cheap.
Linda, glad you got a bit of a break from the company today. Hope you get some good sleep tonight.

Hoping that BP settles ,Chele. Sometimes you get a couple bad weeks and nobody knows why.
drat..dsil law is home before supper.sigh.
been walking around in a daze after last night but managed the Thursday towel laundry only a lot more. Then I gathered up my resolve and a Xmas gift card and went to Chandler mall. Only about 7 handicap spots always full, but managed to get about 100 steps to PotteryBarn as a shortcut inside. Then down one arm of the mall halfway to Chicos. The only person slower than I was a little old lady with a Walker and was close to passing me. I sure hope the knee surgery changes this.
yea buy one get one half off. Between my gift, my loyalty discount, the sale and two good coupons I got 175 worth for $45! My favorite color cobalt blue in crop pants and top and a white top with a spray of flowers on one side.
came home exhausted. Linda

.Dsil was not gone all day into evening. Sedona is higher altitude and cooler so they ran into prime tree pollen time which after her and ine friend. She had to take a muscle relaxant for pain in eye tonight because sinus pressure set it off. She was back before supper..my plan had been last two hot dogs in freezer with beans and applesauce…had to run to store for more. Too tired to go out.
Found out she cannot sleep and stays up til one with phone and tv. It did not work well last night for me (other side of tvwall) going to have to work something out. I thought she said audio books put her to sleep..well…no. her favorite thing would be reading a book, but one cruelty of this nerve thing is focusing on print causes a lot of pain. She has to wear a weighted eye patch in the evening, She's waiting for the nerve block to kick in, but it does not work as well any more, looking like surgery will be necessary. An awful condition.
There are shows we both have liked. Before but we cannot seem to find tv streaming in common. Her nerve thing prevents reading subtitles…stuff we usually watch or I could find lots, She is especially thriller serial killer, bloodshed type which DH hates, and cerebral mystery or fun mystery …nope.
I need to come up with a list of possibles tonight for the next four days,.
