Good morning.
45, cloudy, chance of rain, high of 56.
Robin, I pick up DD2 kids when need be. If I move to the small town, it would be 8 miles more. Howie lives down in the valley as we call it, maybe 40 miles away, but DD1 usually does not need help picking up her DD's. And yes, Howie works, where though I have no idea.
Glad you were able to get some relief from your back pain. Did you and your DS get all of the stuff cleaned up? I bet you are happy that it is finally done.
What was the training for?
Pinky, nice, getting 2" of rain!! Wouldn't it be nice if we could get rain from now on, every week or so?
I did put in an application for an apartment that I see is available by Tony on June 1st, yesterday afternoon. I also asked for a tour of an apartment in a building that is in the general area of my DS, but have not heard back yet from that request. Both places do not sound like the laundry facilities are easy for me to use, but I have to get going on this.
Oh, I love watching first communions and confirmations!!! The girls are always so pretty!! Thanks for reminding me that I have a pair of white jeans I need to return to Kohls, lol!!
Marsha, both DDs were on the west side, with DD1 announcing the move, just a few weeks ago, so you were right. I am happy for them, as they need more room. They took us (Howie and I) on a tour of the house last week when we went to dinner. It needs a good cleaning, but otherwise it is a huge improvement of what they have right now.
I had the port removed once chemo was done and I had a clean PET scan. I was in such a hurry to get that out!
Sorry, I have no tips for watching something on TV.
Anngie, I think the apartment by Tony would be around 14 miles away, from DD's new place, with it being on the far east side of GB. That is just a guess. No, DD2 is the one still looking for a house. I won't even try to explain it, as it can get my head swimming, especially with me in the mix too.
Did you mention you were going to see the grandkids soon, or did I dream it?
Gareth, Kaleb is very popular on social media, as an influencer. There are times I do not watch him, as what he is showing does not interest me, but some of the things he cooks, I watch. I love his dog, Kip. I always hope he gets on the camera too.
Yes, I applied for an apartment by Tony. I have to be out of here on June 1st.
My father would have been a good candidate for the honor flight, as he was on a battleship at Pearl Harbor, but if he was alive, I do not think his mind would have been good enough to go. I am happy your DH can go again.
Carol, sorry about your headache. I did notice coming out of work yesterday, between the rain drops, that the humidity has climbed up. Of course, as I was surprised it had not come back before this.
Interesting about the neighbors out there talking, presumably about the house. I hope something is done, before there is a chance of squatters coming in. What a nightmare that will be for you all in the neighborhood then! I have heard it is next to impossible getting them out.
Very nice out right now, I can see some blue up above. Rain moving back in just in time for recess. I do not want to keep those kids in 2 days in a row, they were crazy yesterday.
