Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Dreary day today.
Spent part of yesterday in the basement tossing stuff for todays trash pickup. I need to get back to my basement decluttering and go through the bins another time. It was too cold to spent too much time there in the winter, now that itās warmer I can spend more time organizing.
Boss is back to her grouchy self. Sheās been picking on all of us for nothing. Having issues with your boss who is also the HR person is not fun. Had lots of folders to create, weāll be getting in quite a few Edges and Escapes in the near future.
Nothing much going on today. Waiting for trash pickup to complete.
Enjoy your day

Good later morning all. Was up and out early for a blood draw. My primary said she was putting in a request for A1C, but it wasnāt there. The lab tech took 4 extra vials of blood and said heād watch for the request. I called the office and she is in today, so I had a message sent to the nurse, asking about the request and told them that extra blood was drawn and would be there for 3 days. So Iām waiting now to see if she puts it in or not since he took all that extra blood.
I came home and had breakfast and coffee. I only drank water and had nothing since last night in case they wanted anything fasting-wise. Was sitting in my recliner and realized one of my good earrings was missing. Panic time! Looked on the floor and didnāt see it and was scared Iād lost it on my trip to the lab. But decided to go check bed to see if by chance Iād lost it there and sure enough it was right there on the bed. Thank you Jesus!
Stan has a webinar set up for us to watch from the MJ Fox Parkinsonās center. Itās on symptoms that people donāt like to talk about - drooling, sexual issues, etc. Things people find it hard to talk about. Weāll see how it is.
After that heās going in to Boxing and Iām going to have a late lunch with my DF.
Got rid of those 3 bags of clothing for the homeless that my neighbor wanted. Was going to drop off last night but no one was home; so messaged her. She said she could pick up before 7:30 this morning when she goes to work; so we took them out of the car and put them on the porch. And they were gone by 7:30. Yay!!! 3 bags gone!
Tonight is our last Wild game of the season. They signed Fleury to a 1 year contract for next year. Sounds like they may get rid of Gus! Oh well.
ok, webinar is starting. Need to listen. More later!

Joyce, sorry to hear the boss is grouchy again. That is tough when she is HR also. I worked for someone that would take things out on us (the employees she supervised). It was tough, never knew what to expect from her.
Ruth, glad you found your earring. Thatās great that you were able to get rid of 3 bags of clothing and it is going to people who need it. How was the webinar?
Martha, enjoy the vitamin D.
Bonnie, hope you are having a good day.
Did some cleaning and had to run to the store for a few items. Bill and I have been getting rid of some paper clutter. I noticed the recycling bin is almost full. I will start spending time in the basement once it warms up some. Itās too cold to be down there for a long period of time.

Good evening all. Watching our hockey game vs the Kraken. Apparently they arenāt going to the playoffs either.
Had to come on and tell you that I checked late this afternoon, and BCBS is finally processing our acupuncture bills. They are processing the first 4 visits. It doesnāt say yet how much of it they are going to pay, but at least itās in the works. Heaven only knows how long it will be before we actually see any money. But thereās finally hope!
Got my lab results tonight and neither one are great. My A1C is 6.4; 6.5 is considered diabetic in their system. So I really need to get tough on myself with keeping track of what I eat; eating more veggies and all; and losing some weight. Along with upping my almost non-existent exercise! Also my blood sugar was like 136 which is higher than itās ever been.
My TSH was .77 or so and I imagine heāll be changing my 112 mcg back to 100 mcg. Or maybe not. He may wait until our video meeting next Friday to do it.
Martha, skinny vibes at WW tomorrow morning. Joy, so hope your boss gets her act together and is in better spirits. So hard to work for people like that!
Dottie, I much prefer to give clothing, toys, furniture, etc. directly to people who can use it; rather than to the charities which either sell it or scrap things. I think there will be a lot more that will be donated directly to those in need rather than me wasting time trying to sell stuff.
Ok, Iām going to do a few things during the period break and more tomorrow!
