Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Looks like the sun is trying to break through the clouds.
Ruth - I know you are concerned about your A1C level. Just wanted to remind you that last year my A1C was 7.9 and this year it is down to 6.8, and I know losing weight has been the main reason that it’s down. Working on getting it under 6, but every .1 that it goes down will make me happy. I’m going to add more walking, I’m sure if I’m more consistent that will help.
Dottie - I need to work on my paper clutter soon. Organizing what I decide to keep will be a challenge, but I need to do something.
Martha - I really enjoy walking on nice sunny days. Natural vitamin D is the best.
Waving hi to Bonnie.
Heading to work soon. Hopefully I’ll figure out something to do. All the paperwork is done, Tammy and I are struggling to at least look busy.
Enjoy your day

Joyce, I hope you and Tammy find enough to keep you busy today. Is the grouchy boss in today?
Waving to Ruth, Bonnie and Martha.
I did some more house cleaning today. Today is Bill and my 50th anniversary and we are going out to dinner with the family. After dinner they are coming back here for dessert. The restaurant we picked looks nice, it is under new management, but we used to eat there in the past. We decided on no gifts for each other. We did go on the cruise in March with Bill’s family and plan to go visit both families in late summer, and head to Florida in October, so we will be having lots of special events.

Good evening all. Happy Happy 50th Anniversary to Dottie & Bill! It takes work to get to 50! Enjoy your dinner out with your family. And cheers to many more wonderful years together!!
Stan went to Pedal Class this morning and I got some chores done around here. I put in a Target order and got laundry half done. When Stan got home he took Maggie to get groomed and her nails trimmed. He came back and we went out to lunch. And picked up our Target order which was 10 miles in the other direction. Dinner was leftovers from yesterday. Right after we walked in they called that Maggie was finished and he went to get her. She smells good! And they found a tic on her already. So we have ordered flea & tic medicine and will start her on that Monday. I finished up laundry and looking at some paperwork that I only need to keep some of.
Joy, I’m not considered diabetic yet, and don’t want to be. I saw what DF Rita & her DH went through with diabetes. Ultimately, it contributed to both of their deaths. They both ended up on dialysis because it destroyed their kidneys and also caused heart issues for Rita. So I’m going to really work at getting the weight off and my A1C down into the 5’s again. Rita was able to get herself totally off insulin about a year before she passed away. I sometimes wonder if that contributed to her demise at all. I will miss her for the rest of my life! And try to do better so she’d be proud of me.
Sorry you and Tammy are needing to look like you are busy. That’s the worst. Did you get in that shipment of small SUV’s you talked about?
Waving to Bonnie & Martha. Hope you are both doing well. Hope WW went well today for Martha.
Tomorrow we’re taking boxes to DD’s house and might pick up laundry at DS’s. Don’t know about that yet. But will be nice to get the boxes out of the garage. Want to get downstairs and get more bagged up and get the furnace room I use for the garage sale type stuff more organized so I know what is still to go. Want to ask older DD which, if any, of the baby stuff I have left she’d like. I have a lot of it listed but a lot needs to go. Some of it may just go to the reservation.
Sad that our hockey season is over and we lost last night. I may choose another team to follow through the playoffs.
Have a great weekend all and I’ll try to check in tomorow.
