This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning! Well, we were planning to mow today but I'm not sure we'll be able to. It's overcast and it was kind of misting rain a little while ago. The sun is supposed to come out this afternoon for a couple of hours, but I'm not sure if it will be enough to get the grass dry enough to mow. Janet - sounds like you have a really busy weekend. Lots to do. Enjoy your family time. IDK what we'll actually end up with today. Right now, it's coffee time.  |

Good Morning All - the only thing I have planned for today is taking my DGS to the library - always fun. The sun is shining now and it seems pretty nice out. Tomorrow the high is 54 as opposed to 72 today, so I will be sure to get out and enjoy today.
Lora - hope you are able to get the mowing done today.
Robin - so glad you are getting another chance for the interview. It sounds like you have a lot of opportunities out there though-- why not -- you have been a fount of information for us over the years!!
OK...getting out to enjoy the sunshine

Susie, I LOVE going to the library, for sure!! I believe it with the three weeks to feel better, and I'm sorry that it took so long.
I'm sleeping better, but not able to lie down yet, all the way. But I do feel a ton better than I did a week ago.
This evening a friend and I are getting together who is in town from down in West Palm.🙏

Hi Everyone,
Finally got the caterpillars this afternoon. Yeah! I do think that message that I received by text was a smishing scam. I reported it to the scam email on the USPS. I'll see if I get any response.
I got my nails manicured this afternoon. I may try to do it more frequently. I don't do all the nail stuff and a light color so reasonable cost to get it done.
My friend's brother seems to be doing a bit better than before. Not great but better than last week when she didn't know if he was going to survive.
I need to make the spread for the Passover Seder. I might make it tonight or could do it in the morning as I am usually up early anyway. I may wrap the gift tonight. It shouldn't take long to do. I don't want to have to do both tommorow.

Hi again, everyone!
Well, we did get the mow finished, thank goodness. We're scheduled for rain again in the morning.
Jill - enjoy your time with your friend! My DH has been having to sleep with extra pillows because of the dental implant he just got, to minimize swelling. Although, he seems to be doing just fine. No real pain, almost no swelling.
Susie - we're not much better tomorrow. We're looking at a high around 60°.
Robin - Awww. We're all appreciative for 2nd chances, right? So glad you're seeing interest and positive responses. Anyone would be lucky to get you on staff.
Janet - glad the caterpillars made it okay. But so sorry about the bogus email mess. I just hate that people are so low down and always trying to take advantage of others.
Jana - I hope your drive home was an easy one yesterday and that you're having a good weekend!
After the rain passes tomorrow morning, we might try to spread some weed & feed down on the yard. Exciting, right? Don't be getting all jealous now. Ha! The last couple of days I've been feeling kind of down and not like myself. Maybe partly because I've missed the gym for a week and I've had zero human interaction except mealtime with DH. I mean, it's not like I have a lot of stimulating conversation with anyone at the gym, but it at least gets me out of the house and I get a change of scenery. My knee is much improved, so I'm hoping to get back in the gym this upcoming week, even if I have to back down the weights a little.
Here's hoping for a sensational Sunday for everyone.
