Those who have committed to being the best they can be. A place to come and share. A group that is there for one another. Though there is a list, it changes from time to time. Let us know if you might be interested in joining us and I will add your name to the list.

Good morning ~ I am feeling much better and hope this cold will be GONE by Tuesday. I plan to go buy the ingredients for the pudding later today - the pudding I will take Tuesday for the pudding tasting social event. Hope to find brown sugar!
Talked to our daughter yesterday and hope to talk to our son and granddaughters today. I would like to find out from him when NOT to come visit this summer...would like to see them before school starts this fall.
My daughter has been going through boxes that have been in storage for nearly a decade and it sounds a bit like going through a time capsule. She has taken photos of photos of her first birthday, me at three, and also of hair accessories worn to prettify a bun on the back or top of one's head. For being over fifty years old they look pretty nice:
BEVERLY: I am so sorry to hear about your husband's (and your) ordeal. It is so hard when someone begins to fade. I am glad you have some children nearby to call when you are home and need them to help with your husband. (((HUGS))) I am sending you all positive thoughts.
CHERRY: I hope Roger comes and you two accomplish on your to-do list.
LYNN: You will have SO MUCH FUN on your trip. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Hello all,
I am home this morning, relaxing for a bit before getting my shower & getting dressed for the day. I do feel a bit better today, after a decent night's sleep. I was so exhausted last night that I was out like a lite. I am going to church this morning on my way to the hospital. Hopefully, I will get a bit of inspiration. I will then go by the hospital. This being Sunday, I'm sure we won't hear much in the way of discharge dates today. Once they get his carbon dioxide levels down, he should be good to come home. They say that the x-rays don't show any sign of heart failure this time. Often, he has a lot of fluid around his heart, but not this time. Hopefully, he will come home tomorrow or Tuesday. He is so ready to come home & I am so ready for him to. Bless his heart, he only got to stay home 9 hrs the other day, until we had to call an ambulance. I think the kids will all be there to see him today, so I may come home early & try to get some rest.
It is surprisingly cool today. High only in the upper 50's. A brisk breeze to go with it. I will have to dig out a jacket.
Have a great Sunday my friends. Since I have trouble posting any pictures here, I have changed my profile pic to a pic of my precious grandson Sam, ready for his senior prom last night.

Good morning. Roger will be coming today as I haven't gotten any notifications saying that something has come up that he has to do. No funerals. I don't know how much we will get done. Monday is going to be windy so there probably isn't a lot we can do outside in the garden. There are a few things that need to get done. Spread out the compost we put on some of the raised beds last fall, and one of the pieces of weed fabric came loose on one side exposing the bare ground underneath it. That needs to be put back in place. It is supposed to be fairly warm, like maybe 56, but there also is a 50% chance of showers in the afternoon.
I have to run into town tomorrow morning for a blood test, and then I'm going to get a few things at Walmart before I come home. I'm going to pick up some softener salt so Roger can put it in the softener. The bags are heavy and it is difficult for me to lift them. I'll have the Walmart employees put them in my car.
Now I'm going to vacuum the rugs to remove the black hair clumps that Nono leaves all over the place. Hopefully he won't leave very many more before Roger gets here. Darn cat. He can be such a pest sometimes, walking in front of me wherever I go, and tearing madly through the house. That's when he leaves his hair clumps all over. They come off his paws and I'm surprised he has any left on them. They come from other places on his body too.
Well, it is time to get moving. Have a great Sunday.
