Good morning.
35, sunny, going to 65.
Robin, a 1-bedroom apartment seems so small that with my favorite chairs, I can easily give up the couch. It works perfectly that DD can use it at her new place, for in the basement.
Yes, I will be saving money over this apartment, just the rent alone- June 1st is $1,275. here, there will be $850. I will pay all utilities there, which I am fine with, what with it being a small place, I can't imagine heating it will be hard in the winter, and I have gotten my water bill down so low, another nonissue. Plus, I am now wondering how much the lease here would go up June of 25. Rent here is off the charts. They just announced another government funded apartment building being talked about for downtown, with it being rent controlled, but the STUDIO apartments will be going for $1,300!!!!! Yeah, they used the price of supplies being so high, but seriously?? A 2 bedroom would be $2,300!!! I don't understand it, as this is a federal backed building, which will have a swimming pool on the roof!!!! Really???
I am sure you said, but my day yesterday was awful, so I just don't remember; are you working today?
Happy Passover!!!
Gareth, I guess you can't be surprised that the head count at the funeral was low, since it was not announced the normal way. Too bad about the amount of food leftover. Did she have any kids? Who actually put the service on? (Husband, child, etc)
I am 90% sure that there was an update while I had my computer shut off the other night, and with that, it took the duplicate tab away. I see some new things, things I would not use. I wish they would just leave things alone. Yes, I did a Covid test. I will do another one tomorrow. I felt like heck yesterday, spent so much time in bed sleeping, but no fever. I feel like I can go to work, but we shall see how that goes.
Carol, I agree, about the minister and names, a little research never hurt.
Thats too bad that there wasn't a better turnout for the dinner. How was it advertised? Maybe a lot of people did not know about it. I can imagine all the hard work it when into, to put that on, I would not be surprised if that is not done again.
I wish I could fast forward to sometime in the summer, maybe July. I am dreading having to find a moving company, and the worrying about getting the furniture down the stairs without marking up the walls.
Anngie, I shut my laptop down every time I am done with it. Normally the system warns me when an update is needed and to leave it on so it can be done. I always click do it now, to be done with it. I am so ticked about losing that duplicate tab. I Googled about it, and there is no answer for it. I have 2 separate screens going today; I can't even explain how I found it, but it will work for the time being.
Funny you say that about the height of the stool in the bathroom. The 2nd bathroom here is for handicapped, with the stool higher. Since I don't use it much, it throws me off a bit when I do use it. Just a weird thing with me.
I have to remember to turn on Sunday morning, I would have liked to have seen that, yesterday, about the Seder.
I spent so much of yesterday sleeping, and the aches and pains I had!!! It sure wasn't fun. I feel human again, but I do have a good cough. I am going to go to work, but if it is too much, I will go home. Not happy that this puts me behind in the things I need to be doing.
