Had a great night w/ the family. We walked to a place that was supposed to have great wings. Was nice to stretch our legs & the dog could come with us. Afterwards, Richard, Avery, & me hit the pool. Noel was there but didnβt join us. We had fun! Very pleasant & active start to our NF vacation.

Bee thanks for the prayers. Always appreciate them. Hope your grocery run wasnβt too disappointing. Produce can be hot or miss.
I picked up strawberries, bananas, & grapes on the drive. Avery was thrilled to have a cup of fresh fruit when she came to our room.

Nice start to your getaway June.
Work is moderately busy and I'll take it.
S - Usual coffee B - Egg on avocado toast with salsa L/D - AFI food show at work. Current and predicted food trends, comfort food favorites. Probably 40-50 food vendors. I will pick and choose to indulge wisely since WI is tomorrow

June, were the ribs good? I did get some delicious blackberries yesterday.
Susi, enjoy all the choices you make.
I can try to remove myself from the achy sneezy limb I am on.
Will show up tomorrow to be accountable.
Keeping all in prayer.

Checking inβ watching the baby & the Boston Terrier do that Noel, Amy, & Avery can go on the Maid of the Mist. So chillinβ.
Susi- your menu look is fab as usual!
Bee- hope you feel better soon. Dinner was good! I stuck with a plain grilled chix sandwich. Those that were more adventurous enjoyed their meal.

Susi- β¦ I meant to type that the options to pick & choose between offerings from vendors sounds fabulous. I obviously stink at using the desktop option msg board on my phone.

Soooo funny thingβ Avery announced at breakfast that is staying the whole summer with us. (Sheβs not, but it was very sweet).
Am happy that we can be here. And that our presence enabled all of Noelβs family (except the baby) to experience the Falla.

Getting lots done at the office and got one room at home yesterday evening semi cleaned out/worked on another. I want to have that done by the time Vivianna comes on Fri. Had a delicious salad for lunch with lost of vegs and fruit. Randy took out catfish for dinner.
June, trip is sounding wonderful - Hope the girls enjoy Maid of the Mist. We did it the one time we went to the falls. Fun. I bet the baby has really grown! Is she starting to walk yet? Renee is pulling up but not really taking steps unassisted. SHe was 10 mo old this past week. LOL I bet Avery is hinting around at staying with you for the summer;)
Susi, Hope you find some healthy as well as tasty options on the food truck. That was really sweet of you to take Marge to her manicure.
Bee, so sorry to hear you are trying to fight off a cold...hugs and prayers. I bought some apples this past week that had no taste at all.

Yesterday got a bit interesting. Son#1 and the Kressling came in at 6 AM. I took Son#1 to his train and the Kressling headed to his morning shift with Son#1's car. Toots & Pippin went back to bed but I ended up being too awake <sigh>. So I worked on the Boy Scout shirt and some YM data entry. When Toots & Pippin got up we went to Animal Crackers to pick up a big bag of chow and met a lovely 7-month-old pittie puppy. On the way home we stopped at Jersey Mike's. We picked up the Zigster at 4:30 and brought him here, and then he, the Kressling, and Son#1 left before my 6 PM YM staff zoom. That lasted until 7 PM and then I watched a couple of British mysteries until bedtime.
Today? I worked on the bills. There's always more YM data entry to do. I have the next batch of M65 jackets to get through the laundry. And I need to work on the May AND June MTS since they will be so closely aligned with a round of recruit training. I also want to just sit in the sun for a while. Most is on hold until tomorrow (maybe). I've been moving slowly - on purpose - since Saturday night.
Dinner last night was the second half of our Jersey Mike's. Today we had spinach lasagna rollups with meatballs, green beans, salad for our mid-day meal.
Coffee... βββ... supper...
