Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

'morning! (((Hugs))) I've gone off the rails this week. Not sure why but will think & contemplate on it. Finishing laundry, emptying dishwasher & folding sheets are on to do list. I'll be getting another dose of natural vit d. Then the clouds ⛅️ and rain 🌧 will hang around thru the weekend. Have a good day! (((Hugs))) 🪺🏝🌷🌼🩴🪷🌻🌺🪻🕶🌞🚲🏖👣🏊‍♀️

Martha, hope you are back on the rails.
Waving to Joyce and Bonnie.
Ruth, I hope the doctors can give your ODD some help. One problem with autoimmune problems (as with other medical problems) there isn’t a test to indicate the problem, they have to rule out many things. Sounds like your DD will be all set for boxes.
We switched to Cox from Frontier for internet. There is one other provider in the area who has great reviews but we have underground wires and they don’t provide service for that yet. When we checked they said it would be several more years. We don’t have cable just Hulu for streaming. Some of the local channels we can get on an antennae, but some days the picture isn’t great. Today is windy and that is a problem with the picture and sound cutting out.
My visit to the doctor was okay, she is referring me to a podiatrist, because of the pain in my ankles and my feet feeling mushy at times. When that happens I have trouble walking because I’m unsteady. Hopefully this will help.
It’s a nice day but still cool out, at least the sun is out, that helps. The water company came today to check on our meter since no water was used for Jan, Feb and March. When Bill answered the door right away the guy said I bet you are a snowbird. He explained he would have to check the meter but would indicate in the notes that we go away for several months during the winter.

Good evening all. Got a few things done when Stan went to boxing. Finished getting a donation ready for a gal who works at an autism center. Mega Bloks and some Fisher Price Little People. Sorted out a few things I have pictures of to get listed. And I have a big bin of 5/5T stuff to sort, match up, photograph and list.
When Stan got home, we ran some errands. I had returns at Kohl’s, a stop at the bank to deposit the insurance check which finally came, a Target pick up, a stop at Walmart (they are across the street from each other), and a stop at Kwik trip. Then home and made dinner. I still need to clean up the kitchen but that’s it.
Martha, hope all is well with you. Waving to Joyce and Bonnie. Hope you all had good days.
Dottie, hope they can help your feet. That’s got to be scary to have issues walking. Older DD’s doctor does a pretty good job of keeping her symptoms under control and said as long as they could they wouldn’t worry about which one it was. Eventually DD will need knee replacements due to 11+ years of figure skating and all those hard landings. And she has some wrist issues from landing on it whenever she’d fall. But hopefully those are down the road.
It looks like we have 6 choices for internet (most of them fiber cable companies and not as strong as Comcast/Xfinity); and about that many for cable, along with 2 dish companies. But I’ve not heard good things about any of them. Frontier is one of our options. We stick with Comcast/Xfinity because it’s a known quantity. I don’t think any of our 3 kids’ families have Comcast/Xfinity, even though it’s available to all. They do various streaming services. We only did one streaming service so I could watch the Wild games on ESPN+. We did Disney (was a package with ESPN+) and Mara watches Bluey on it. We don’t do Netflix much to our grandchildren’s amazement! Hope you like your new one better and have better luck.
ok, going to go out to finish the kitchen cleanup. Tomorrow while Stan is at Pedal class and I’m on the video seminar for PD, I think I’ll work on paperwork. We have some shredding events coming up and I’d like to have more ready for that and for next week’s recycling too.
more tomorrow!
