Sandy, I never worry about Ozzie falling because the ground is uneven. Dogs with their 4 legs are much more able to navigate surfaces of any kind.
Lucy, What did they find was wrong with your car? I hate it too when things make funny noises or don't work the way I think they should. Being a renter I would have to call my landlord to check inside things and never know when he might show up.
Kathie, I love the story about your red rose. Gotta know he was looking out for you.
I have felt really good today. Glad I decided not to finish the course of Paxlovid. I had every side effect listed on the papers the doc gave me plus a few I saw online. Still have a cough but heard that might last a while and the itchy rash on my chest. Didn't really do much today. Took some things out of the frig that were past good, cleaned off my desk top, folded some undies that had been laying on top of my dryer for 3 days and did one load of laundry, read a bit and worked on my puzzle. Have a few more scrambled words for you.

Hi! It's been a crazy busy month, and things are likely to be worse during May and June. I have fallen at least twice, but haven't broken or skinned as yet. One time was yesterday in the front door of my friend where I went for my perm! How embarrassing! Sure miss checking in with y'all each day. I'll be back, but it will be awhile! Hugs! ~~Mollyann

If May Flowers ends up being the theme then my name for May will be Yellow Roses as those were my mother’s favorite flower.
Betty the reason I worry about the uneven ground is Rosie has face planted a few times and I worry that one of these times she will get hurt.
I told Fred Rosie is getting more demanding every day! While he was in the shower yesterday she started really having a major temper tantrum and I could not figure out what was going on as she had been fed, taken out and played with. I kept saying what is your problem as she was stamping her feet, throwing her head back and hitting my chair and my leg. Then she actually started alternating crying and growling! I then wondered if all this was because she wanted to play more so I got on the floor and she came over and I had curlers in my hair and she tried to pull them out! Then she started rolling on the ground and doing her boxing with me. I did this for about 15 minutes and then got up and sat down and she went in her bed and went to sleep! Never seen such a display from any of our other dogs ever! Have I said just how spoiled a little one she is? 🐶😂😍
This morning she goes for grooming and I also have a haircut - well really a trim.

Happy Thursday!
Yay, Betty!!!! Negative is great! Now, you may feel better every day.
Lucy, cars can be a major pain, but they are necessary. Hope yours is fine.
Yesterday was very busy. We met friends for breakfast, I got a manicure, and then the therapist came and I really got a workout. I slept all afternoon. Today our groceries will be delivered, but nothing else is planned.
Part of my problem is bending my left leg so I can get a shoe on. I finally got my house shoe on this morning! So much nicer than having to wake John! Hope I can do it from now on. This leg doesn't want to cooperate with me. I have to push it a bit.
Molly, I'm so glad your falls didn't break anything! Take care, friend!
I like the May Flowers theme, too. So many flowers to choose from!
Find some fun, today! Diane

Molly, falls are scarey. I'm glad you are ok.
Betty, there's nothing wrong with my car. Somehow the radio was on but the sound very low. My phone was in one of the cups, on. I don't understand but that caused the bird chirping sound. Bill explained it to my son.
I think I have one more doctor's appointment then I will be done for awhile. Pain Dr continued the pain medicine that I take at bedtime.
Bill is going to fry catfish for lunch so I go there.
I will work on the scrambled words this afternoon.
Have a great day all.

May Flowers --8 votes
I am calling it MAY FLOWERS and will be collecting your name for the month. So far have One Red Rose Kathie Yellow Roses Sandy Snap Dragons Nancy Lily of the Valley Connie Hibiscus Linda Dandelion Lucy Golden Daffodil Betty
Hooray, Betty, glad you tested negative!! Hope from now on things just get better and better.
The sun is shining and the crab apple tree is almost shining. The neighbor cattycorner to me is just getting more and more junked up. I try not to look that way and the 4 cars sitting in drive way do kind of block the mess from me. Have never had that problem here before. Oh well, will ignore it the best I can and mind my own business.
Sandy, I too, agree with Betty those little face plants do not hurt them and they just continue to run and play. They are really cute tumbling around so just enjoy watching her. Even little kids run, play and fall and get right back up again. Close to ground and soft grass. For yourselves though you may want to roll the ground when it is a bit soft yet before the sun bakes it hard. My lawn guy has rolled ours already. Has it on the back of the mower this time of year. Hard for us adults walking on uneven ground.
Molly, nice to see your post. Sorry you have been falling sure that is scary.
Lucy, Yum Catfish, you know I am jealous. Glad there was nothing wrong with your car. I have the radio on in my car all the time so I can't hear weird noises, LOL unless my friend is with me and then we are chatting. I do turn it down then. She leaves her's turned up , don't think she hears well!!!

I'll be Snapdragons for May. My mother had a bed with snapdragons by the house. I liked picking them and making them "snap". Oh, the memories of childhood! I got the garbage ready to go out to the curb. I don't know what I'll do for the rest of the day. It's sunny and 53 degrees now.

I just packed up all the guns that Jim has and gave them to my DS. He will see that Jim's sons get them. He took them all out yesterday saying someone was going to break into the house and he wanted to be ready (with guns). A man with vascular dementia should not be able to fiddle with guns. Now I have to try to find all the ammunition he has here.....and pass that to my DS also.
I did have 5.5 hrs. of sleep. It is the most I have gotten in a long time. Hopefully will tuck you all in later. Jim had breakfast at 11:30 but is back in bed. I think I'll get dressed now at 12:45.

Yikes, Kathie! Good move getting firearms away from someone with dementia.
Mollie, glad to see you, take care.
Guess I will be hibiscus as ours has begun to flower with warmer weather. It is 11 feet tall! The buright orange-red blossoms are quite large.
Sandy, did you look wrong to her with curlers? Years ago when one of our mini schnauzers was a pup, I was taking a bath with green clay mask in my face, and the puppy freaked!
Cleaner is in mountain country of Mexico visiting her aged parents. So we will be 4 weeks between clean, but with house guest, we have been keeping up. So I got to sleep in until after 8.
weather went back to nice ..80 at 1 with a high of 82. Yea. So I got outside and pruned back the two shrubs attacking me when I turn in the hose and trimmed out the hanging bottom so guys tomorrow can blow leaves out of there. Also did the Thursday towel laundry routine.
thinking of lighter fare for supper. All this eating out put back a pound and I really need more gone since every pound is 4 pounds of pressure on knees and feet. Wish losing was as easy as gaining.

Talking about dogs being afraid when we do something different......the horses are afraid of me when it is raining and I carry an umbrella. So best here just to get wet....LOL.
Tucking you in now in our newest blanket. It looks like a nice bright sunny Spring day and our doggies are all playing together. We are sitting around them watching them play. I guess when the adults all love each other the doggies do too.....Sweet dreams!
