Good morning.
28, sunny and clear, going to 57.
Gareth, my credit union has the same thing, for paying bills. My whole problem right now is I do not know what is allowed by the new apartment complex management company.
How did the install of the water softener go? Hope all went well, and you are now enjoying your softener.
Pinky, I was excited for you that you did not have that wind!! I think I will whisper to you...that there is no wind here, right now. But shhh, don't tell mother nature, she might adjust it, ha-ha. Right now, it looks like a perfect spring morning out my patio door. I can even hear the birds singing.
Yes, I guess I am excited about the new place. I am looking forward to being back on the ground floor. I had to go to the store after work yesterday and I still do not feel well; ended up having to do 3 trips up and down for the bags. My breathing is not good yet, so that meant sitting and waiting for my lungs to calm down before doing another trip.
We are expecting rain all weekend, are you?
Robin, since I am not a business, I will not look at that $25 per month extra charge as not getting ripped off. I feel I am. At least other businesses give you an option to pay a different way so as to avoid that charge. So far, I have not seen that with this company, which means I will have to call them to get their address to mail a check or if like Gareth said, there is a way our banks can connect.
How did your DH do at the doctor, about the scan? Good news, I hope.
Carol, I am sorry about your DS. She should be hearing soon about what stage the cancer is, so maybe it is just stage 2, or 3. I will keep thinking good thoughts that it is till you tell us different. I took it hard that since I had 2, my DB had 4, and his was also spred to his brain. You have all my prayers. Had she been "hale and hearty" before this cough came up? If so, that can help, believe it or not; it helps the body cope with the treatments.
I looked into those locks, I am quite excited about them; I went on a site that CNN was doing a thing about the best ones, so I just have to decide which one I want. Of course, with how cheap they are, I could get a couple.
Anngie, I do not think I was clear on that mileage to the other apartment. The new apartment is actually closer to everything I need. It is 4-5 miles from this apartment. It will be more convenient for most everything I need.
I will go with a moving company, as it is just easier, what with the few men in our family getting a bit older, and nobody has a good-sized truck to use. I am not looking forward to the family coming to get the furniture I gave them, as I have no idea how they are going to accomplish that. DS is tickled pink, lol!!
Marsha, welcome back. I hope your holiday was all you wanted it to be.
Monday there were 2 fights outside during the 6th grade recess. So Holly the associate principal, who is in charge of the lunches/recesses said no recess for that lunch the rest of the week. Tuesday was a day from hell, with that group inside. I had a talk with Holly yesterday morning about it, and told her that after that lunch on Tuesday, I almost quit my job, it was so bad. Her and Dennis, the other associate principal came down during the lunch yesterday and stayed there for the whole lunch. Needless to say, they were very busy with the kids, as the kids were at their worst with them there. The SRO came down and her and I had a chat, with her agreeing that the whole lunch should not be penalized because of a few that were fighting, and she was going to talk to Holly after lunch. Holly did tell me they may let them back out today. I can only hope. With this cold I am in NO mood to put up with those certain kids being so bad, staying inside. Thanks for letting me blow off steam.
