Shragae FL..April Showers Sandy IL..Wanting Spring Warmth Lin AZ..Spring Allergy Lucy TX..Enjoying the Warm Sunshine Nancy IL..Watching Flowers Grow Connie PA..Pulling Winter Weeds Kathie CA..The Spring Gardener Betty MN..Flowers in Bloom Diane OK..New Routines to Health Mollyann MO..
How did everyone do on the scrambled words? I'll have to look for a few more before my month is done.
Mollyann, glad you weren't hurt when you fell. Any fall at our age is bad. We think we're being so careful and then it happens anyway.
For May Flowers I will choose Golden Daffodil. They are my absolute favorite. I think they are just so perfectly formed and beautiful. I don't care for the ones that have the orange centers or the ones with white, just like the plain yellow.
Kathie..you were very wise to remove the guns from the house. People with dementia are not always aware of what they're doing and that could cause harm to them or someone else.
I have never read too much about Covid so dumb me thought that as soon as I tested negative I would be fine. Not so much. I still have a cough and I am so sleepy much of the time. Right now I feel pretty good and was able to get my grocery order done for tomorrow but I fell asleep during Jeopardy this afternoon and most of the afternoon just felt drained. Brian said that would last for a while. I am glad I tested negative though. I'll post the scrambled word answers in a few minutes.

I didn’t do good on the words this time but it was still fun trying.
Linda Rosie has seen me in curlers many times but I think she was so mad at me for taking my time in playing with her after her tantrum that she was looking for anything to do to cause problems. The whole thing was so hilarious I could not stop laughing.
Rosie looked great after her grooming but I noticed in the afternoon she was shaking and I think so much of her hair had been trimmed she was cold so I wrapped her blanket around her and she stopped shaking and went right to sleep. But the groomer said the only problem she had was in trying to trim her face as Rosie does not like having her face touched but she worked on it a long time as she kept it gentle. I said I’ll work on her not liking her face touched by using a warm washcloth and rubbing it over her face in the mornings. But she just looks so good I was very happy as was Fred so we asked if we can request the same girl for next time and they said no problem. What was the best is in the past you dropped off your dog at 7 am and picked them up at 3 pm. Well the groomer called Fred at 9:30 and was asking more questions about the type of cut we wanted and then called at 10:30 saying she was done and we could come get her! Fred said he wondered if they had even given her a bath and I said Fred they probably had the bath and nail trim done when they called as the actual trim is done after all that. She really smelled good too! But I am noticing she walks gingerly outside and I think her nails must have been trimmed again after last week and might be sore as might be too short. Of course she might be walking like that due to the uneven ground and she doesn’t want to face plant again! I think getting groomed put her in a bad mood as she barked at everything when she was on the porch and it was not a soft bark like usual and then when she was inside she looked at the tv and started doing a low growl and then barking ferociously at it! She really barked a lot at our neighbor that she likes but he was bringing back his garbage cans from the curb and she had been sleeping in her chair on the porch and the noise woke her up and you aren’t supposed to wake the queen from her beauty nap!
Supposed to start raining at 9 am and continue all day with thunderstorms tonight but then no rain forecast for quite a while. Of course it would be raining the day after Rosie gets done and looks so good as her paws will get muddy and not look bright white. But I’ll wait until tomorrow after it’s dry out and wash her paws. As much as she doesn’t like it I’ll put a sweater on her when she goes out as it’ll only be in the 50’s today.

We could use some rain. I don't think it's rained here in the last couple of weeks and since it's getting hotter and we need to water things...
May flowers.
That is a really good question!
I have some vincas in my front window boxes. I've managed to keep them going nearly 3 years although they're supposed to be annuals. My window boxes out back are all full of dead plants. They're also probably full of fire ants and although I put fire ant poison in them I'm a bit hesitant to try to clean them out. I really hate getting bit by fire ants!

Remember when we didn't have fire ants?
Rough night. I should go to the gym but I just don't feel like it.
Storms predicted so we will see. Pretty windy this morning and solid cloudy.
Have a great day all.

I got all of the scrambled words, one short one gave me trouble for awhile. but then the light went on. The really long one I got right away. So strange sometimes but I love scrambled words. thanks Betty. The last word I got radiates.
the sun is shining and it is warmer today. I have to go to ATM and will do that after lunch time. Shouldn't be too busy later. After all the cold nights don't know if my Check tire pressure light is on or not. Haven't been out in a few days.
DD says maybe we will see about going out to eat maybe Saturday night. If DGS can go as well. He has really been sick with Covid so not sure if he will be up to it. If not we will wait on him to feel better. He tested negative the other day.
No other plans that I know of. Like the sunshine and it is 63° .
Shragae, did you want Vinca for your name? I think they are so pretty in porch boxes but I don't have any porch boxes and haven't for a long time. , winters are hard on them here. And didn't want to put them on and have to take them off every winter when I moved here. So I just got shutters!

AC guy here now redoing electric filters. Then hour and a half or more on two systems. I never look forward to this.
Minni goes bonkers when people come to door…very protective. Very happy to see them if they are inside, wanting to be underfoot. But every time AC people come in and out to thermostat, it sets her off. She did not the the ladder for the filter near the barricade to keep her in the east side.

My laundry is in the dryer and I have done the vacuuming. My daughter brought me the milk I needed. It's been raining most of the day. The mail carrier has come, but I'll wait until it stops raining before I go out to check it or maybe I'll get it tomorrow!

Kathie, was thinking about the blanket to tuck us in A field of all our flowers, a small white picket fence, a bench with a sleeping kitty on it and maybe a fountain in the middle

Happy Friday!
Grandson surprised us and brought breakfast this morning! Lovely! He stayed most of the morniing, so we had a good visit.
We have had storm warnings all day, so I will keep this short. My computer backs up to a window and it is unnerving in storms.
Sandy, our little rescue dog, Crockett, had a few tantrums after the "honeymoon" was over. Vet said he was testing us to see if he really had a forever home. Sad, in a way, but, oh how he was loved and how happy he was. He was the King of the Castle!
Hope we don't have more storms, but the air feels so heavy!
Hugs! Diane

All good at ENT, AC check done and one capaciter replaced on warranty so it does not completely die while I am recovering, and peace now reigns.

Well we just had a major breakthrough with Rosie and Fred. We had brought her inside and sat down and Fred got up to go pick up pizza for us and Rosie ran at him like she does me when she wants to play and was actually growling at him but a play like growl and in the play stance so I said why don’t you get down and see if she will play with you so he did and she came at him boxing and rolling around and letting him touch her and really played with him! He’s a very happy guy right now and I hope this continues with her.
