I can' track, stay within points, and enjoy the day.
Yesterday was fun. I found two pair of slacks (yellow linen and white cotton) and three tops (brown t-shirt with mock turtleneck, light yellow t-shirt, and a geometric small print top with gray-white-yellow and a drawstring at the bottom) all for under fifty dollars at outlets. Now...to create outfits with them
I am doing laundry today and have put some things in the dryer but those that need to line dry are out and taking time as it is rather humid today.
I may change the sheets on the bed...the last few nights were HOT and sweaty. I used not even a sheet under the mosquito net and was glad it is supposed to cool down a bit today.
Coming back at the end of the day there was a detour and as too often happens here...EVERYONE THINKS THEY SHOULD GO FIRST so I was going north with a string of cars behind me breaking through and pushing my way through three lanes of traffic created by pushy people covering a two-lane road. It took at least an hour or more to get through what should have taken twenty minutes at most. Rosalie and I decided we would NOT be going to Beirut or even Batroun till they fix the road that created the detour for us.

Beeβ good job letting the TB know you are aware and know the game. They can snicker when they want, but you know how to play the long game.
Cathy- your outing with Rosalie sounded fun. Great that you found those pants and top.
Terrific attitude for starting the weekend on on a strong, OP note.
How is your cold?
LaDonna- those catfish nuggets from the other night sounded mighty fine! The fruit & vegetable habit is a great one to have. I appreciate that Avery loves snacking on healthy choices as much as goodies. Give that girl berries, hummus & vegetables, whole grain crackers, string cheeseβ sheβs a happy snacker. Oddly, she does not like watermelon!
We really treasured our time w/ the ladies of NYC. R & I kept both girls last night so the parents could have a steak dinner out.
MJβ poking the Bear is necessary some days! Glad you got some responses. At least everyone has a much firmer idea of whoβs available & what gear is on hand. ShopRite sounds like the best place to pursue the bargains. Glad you found tasty things to eat!
Susi- true, if something isnβt worth eating, then a bite can be the beginning & end. Cleaning your plate isnβt necessary. I never quite outgrew that lesson. But I am getting better: Avery eats like her Mommy, Amy. They are fine with leaving half or a bite when they are full or it isnβt hat good.
Glad that your work is still slower. Makes things a bit easier as your shoulder recuperates.

Yesterday was nice although we scraped our original plans. Sydney had a lot of congestion in the morning. So /he & Amy stayed back while the rest of us went to a very nice playground & dog park.
The playground had a lot of extrasβ a music station with drums & 3 different metal chime sections, wheel-chair accessible whirly gig and a wheelchair accessible push-pull station that moved back & forth. Plus a there was an extensive rope climbing section. The entire surface was rubberized. Very safe.
We later hit the Arcade. Avery added to her βstuffieβ collection & killed lots of Dinos in a Jurassic Park game with Noel. She also played basketball & air hockey w/ R.
We kept both girls so N&A could have a rare night out. Both Sydney & Avery were easy to care for.

Cathy - Glad you found some bargains during your shopping. Sounds like they will coordinate well. June - Glad you are enjoying the NYC family and could give N&A some private time.
Not much going on. My sciatica has been bothering me the last few days so I've been doing some extra stretching. I see the surgeon in a few weeks and ask him if I should talk to the other ortho about another shot. This one held up for a couple of years.
S - Usual coffee B - Chili relleno, avocado, salsa, jalapenos L - Tuna over roasted peppers with fig and olive crisps D - Crab cake, sauteed snow peas E - Walking and stretching.

Good just-barely-afternoon, all!
Prayers still going up for those in the path of storms... many, MANY prayers... there are many, MANY storms... and fires, too, that never seem to go away...
Prayers for all our loved ones who are in particular need...

It's a beautiful sunny day again, and chilly again (40*s when we headed to Toots' dermaDoc appt). It's supposed to maybe touch 60* as a high over the next couple of days.
Toots' recheck on the 3/30 surgery site was OK; continue keeping it clean, continue applying Aquaphor. He had 2 other spots checked that have made an appearance since DocDoc checked him on 2/14. One is on his cheek and he keeps hitting it with his razor. The other is adjacent to the surgery site on his left hand. So the PA-C (new to us; nice guy) took two biopsies and will recheck in 2 weeks (by then the biopsy results should also be in). Toots will start using an electric shaver. We stopped at Rahway Bagels on the way home (haven't done that in a LONG time); they'll be lunch.
The Kressling has been through this morning and will be back later. He wants to go to the JB-MDL Exchange tomorrow afternoon. We'll pick him up at 10 PM and he'll sleep here but will not go to the YM community service gig in the morning. I'll leave the gig right after lunch, come get him, and we'll head down to Ft. Dix.
The rest of my Friday? I'll run another load of M65s. I'll pull the PPE (goggles, masks, gloves, pinnies) for tomorrow, redd'UP the roster based on what I know, and make copies of the township waivers for those who haven't already completed one.
Dinner? Not sure. Maybe I'll make up the oven stuffer ($1.32/lb, good sell-by date, NO idea why it was priced that well). We have a steak and a small pork roast, too. Lots of happy choices.
Coffee... βββ... almost time for lunch...

MπΊB&T: I have "only" been doing the bare minimum on the two Weekly emails - basically calendar lists for members of two products (not the new release). The gal who will be setting up the text (T handed it off to Tessa) in the email formats decided to make suggestions about adding an enticing opening para. <meh>. Both of these Weeklies ran out of "enticing" a long time ago. T blathered something into the googleDoc for the next couple of weeks that will hold things for a while; I'll have to "polish" but that won't take long. But the biggie came last night when she reached out to me and to V about "onboarding" people from the recent release into one or both of the other products. Fortunately, V wants to do it. I most definitely do not / will not. T is have "soft tissue shoulder surgery" on 5/15 and expects to be unable to type on a computer for at least 3-4 weeks. Whatever.

June, Its so nice the girls have you and R in their lives. And I know you both feel the same way about them. Joy all around!
Cathy, sounds like everyone was having alittle road rage. Outfit sounds cute.
Susi, Hope your sciatica calms down.
