Got wash going and working on the kitchen. Been reading the Sunday paper and on the computer. Finished my murder mystery book on kindle. Still debating buying the second one in the series. It is 60 and sunny but we are supposed to get storms tonight.

It is 83 right now. My husband changed into shorts. Tomorrow it will be back in the 60's. We might get some storms later. Got out to an appointment this morning. Am flying low today. Have to get the kitchen cleaned up because we are cooking a turkey breast tonight. Bought the second book in the murder mystery series I'm reading.

It is 59 and cloudy out. Got up to 83 yesterday. The turkey breast was great. Not much going on today. Been reading the paper and on the computer. Probably will do paperwork this afternoon.

Lovely day here, 74 and sunny. Got out for an appointment and an errand this morning. We have a Berlin Philharmonic concert this afternoon at two. Other than that, it will be the usual daily chores.

A big morning in town, a tanker truck caught fire on the turnpike under an overpass. They had to close the turnpike and the alternate routes are practically standing still. The fire damaged power and phone cables and water lines, so some areas of town are without power, phone, and water. We live on the other side of town. Got out to do grocery shopping this morning. Been doing this and that since I got home. Lovely weather, the cats are sprawled out on the rug on the screened-in porch. The concert yesterday was wonderful. They played a Schubert overture, a Brahms concerto for violin and orchestra, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. The solo violinist was a woman from Georgia (the country where the concert was held) and when the concerto was over the audience gave her and the orchestra a standing ovation. The concert was held at an old estate that is now an event center. The buildings and grounds were beautiful. Plus, they were having beautiful weather.

The weather is lovely, 63 and sunny. The saga of I-95 continues in my city. They started to tear down the bridge burned in the gasoline tanker fire yesterday morning. I've been watching the progress on the state's traffic cams. The traffic is still a mess in town. The governor is going to be here for a news conference at 1:15 p.m. Don't know how they are going to get him here with all of the traffic. Husband went out to cover it for a local news website. I made plans to go out to the diner tomorrow morning, but I might chicken out because of the traffic. I have a way to go that is less busy than the main roads but still is getting overflow traffic.

Lovely weather, 67 and sunny. Got to the diner okay. I stayed off of the road that has the heavy traffic from the turnpike. They put up a live cam showing the work on tearing down the bridge. So far, they have taken down the roadbed of the bridge on both sides. In more exciting news, there was a bear in our neighborhood yesterday. We live close to a parkway and on this side of the parkway is opened land and occasionally bears wander up and down the open land. Usually, the bears are up state. The neighbor whose yard the bear was in took pictures and my husband saw them. My husband said it was a big bear.
