This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome here.

Good morning and happy Sunday! We ended up having a pretty good day yesterday. I think I might end up ordering myself a nice blender for my birthday present. I've been finding myself using the blender more recently and for years I've been using a little $20 on that I picked up at Kroger on a "back to college" sale. Lol. I'm looking at a Ninja brand one that comes with 4 different top pieces. Once traditional blender pitcher, a shorter one for food processing and two 16oz shake/smoothie containers - all that work on the same base. It has good reviews and that might be what I decide to get. Anyway, today is a little iffy. DH is working right now, we may head to the gym & park later or we may do a hike. I'm not sure what we'll decide on, but right now this big ol' coffee is top priority. Ha! I woke up with a little bit of a headache, but I think the coffee will knock it out pretty quickly. On the ILs, MIL says that FIL is improving. She acts like she thinks 2 doses of antibiotics should have her fully cured of all of her medical woes of the last 5 years. Lol. Very negative, so IDK if she's still really feeling that rough or if she's being dramatic. I'll have DH call his dad later. He may be able to get a more realistic idea of the situation than I can get from his mother. Thanks for all of the b.day wishes. I appreciate every single one! Have a Super Sunday! BBL

Hi Everyone,[br
]Went to the gym this morning. I made an appointment to have my right side tires checked. It's really hard to tell if it's just the roads that are so bad or it's something not right with my tires. Last time they found 3 nails in the back tire. The one that I was worried about they said it was okay. There are so many potholes. I avoid the ones I know about but there are ones you don't even see. If taking the buses to work weren't such a big hassle I'd do it more. I hope this won't take forever. I have an appointment at least for today but they haven't started to work on it yet as I can see through the window.
My oldest sister is going on a trip to England on Tuesday for 2 weeks. She is meeting a friend there. They both have an interest in Richard the 3rd. They have gone to conferences about him too. She asked to water her plants when she is away. Once I forgot to water one of her plants because I wasn't looking at eye level. It wws a hanging plant. Ever since I am better about that. Lol.
I need to throw in a load of laundry and do some vacuuming after having some lunch. Have a great day!!

Hello All - beautiful day today -- I will be sending time outside reading for sure! I might get a pedicure if one of my DGDs want to go (I owe 2 of them mani-pedis for their birthdays). I definitely want to get a pedi before we head to MA on the 9th.
Lora - that blender sounds pretty cool. Hope DH can find out more when he talks to his dad.
Janet - I hate potholes and some are hard to see OR you are right on top of them and you can't move over to another lane fast enough.
Waving to everyone...have a beautiful day!

It was only a few minutes later after I wrote that the guy came and handed my keys and said everything was ok. Just a relief to know. I was going to go to Walmart but I guess because I went later than I usually do seemed very busy and sometimes they don't always have my egg sandwiches with bacon and cheese. I decided to go over to Giant nearby and get them. The other thing I thought about getting can wait a little longer and maybe I'll go after work one day. I think I want to sit outside for a bit too as it is nice here too. I will do the wash cycle part first and since the dryer takes an hour I'll go out then. Lora, I hope that when you get the blender that you will enjoy it. Back to Paradise tommorow listening to my partner's constant complaining. I get it but it is draining. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hi again!
Susie - it was a beautiful day here as well. A little overcast here and there, but for the most part we had sunshine. I hope you ended up with a lovely day.
Janet - such a relief that no problems were found with your tires. Potholes are THE WORST and so had on our cars!
We ended up with me in the weight room and DH at the track. Afterwards we came home and watched a little college softball and I made our dinner of beef tenderloin medallions, brown butter shrimp and a little side salad. And then we had a few strawberries for dessert. It was all so delicous! Overall, we've had a pretty good weekend. I hope you all did as well.

Hello all,
Lora, I got that very blender at Christmas while it was on a super good sale. I really like it, and the food processor has a dough blade, too, so you could mix up some thick ingredients with that. I never really had a food processor before, but I really like it. The jar is huge! It is square, so sometimes I have to go in with a spatula and get stuff off the sides, but it is not a problem. I think I will especially enjoy the 16 oz. containers this summer for frozen smoothies. I'm glad you got a workout done, and enjoyed some good downtime, too.
Janet, that is good to know that your tires are good. I am with everyone on the "I hate potholes" group! I hope you have a good day in Paradise tomorrow.
Susie, it was gorgeous here today, too! I hope you got in some good reading time. Did you get the pedicure? What fun to go with DGDs.
I was able to get out and get lots of yardwork done. It did get hot and I took a few water breaks, but everything looks good. I still need to do the dogs' yard and the orchard tomorrow, and then I'm done with mowing for a minute. I got really tired, but I still don't sleep great most nights, so I'm not pushing super hard. I don't have plans for tomorrow except more outside work, then Tuesday I have a doctor appointment before my insurance ends. Wednesday is my day to shadow at what will hopefully be my new job! I will definitely be heading up soon tonight and hopefully sleep well. My anxiety is still bad at some moments, but I have been mostly able to manage it, and I have such hope for this job that I am trying to use that to keep myself from feeling panic like I initially felt. I hope everyone else sleeps well tonight, too! I'll be back tomorrow,

Robin - Oh good to know on the blender! Thanks! Girl, change is so hard. I really disliked my job but definitely has stress and anxiety over leaving it behind. I don't want to give you any platitudes, so I'll just say that I truly feel like you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to. You've got this lady!
