Good morning.
54, going to be a RAIN FREE day!!! (Yes, we got rain yesterday!) High of 78.
Gareth, refresh my memory: what day does your DH go to DC?
I am so happy you did not have any bad weather the other day. When everything shook out, there was quite a bit of damage around town here, (Green Bay), such as trees down, limbs, all kinds of stuff like that, but thankfully no damage from a tornado, just high winds. I hear we can get rain later tomorrow, again. This is getting a bit ridiculous.
Thank you, I was very happy I did not lose power, especially with hearing yesterday that so many more did, than originally thought.
Robin, thanks, I am so happy I did not lose power. That just puts you in a whole different frame of mind, and I sure don't need that right now.
Yes, Saturday morning is the move. So, if I want, I can leave unimportant, small stuff behind for when I come back to vacuum and get things then. We'll see. The property manager texted me late yesterday asking to move up the time of the meeting Friday by an hour, and I told her I would love to, the sooner the better, so that made her happy.
What time does DH have to be at the hospital? Good luck to him, and to you.
Marsha, did you get that goofy pop-up storm late yesterday? I just happened to be looking out my bedroom window and thought the sky to the west looked weird. Then I got a warning on my phone. Just so weird, how this weather has been since February!
To be truthful, I felt the same way about my DH, the last years he was alive, what with his health issues, and being so sedentary, he had put on quite a bit of weight, but did not care to do anything about it. Maybe that could have been blamed on depression, who knows?
You DD is out in LaCrosse? That area of the state is SO beautiful!!! I hope she gets a chance to do some exploring, with the Mississippi being right there.
Carol, now I really want a steak!! But with wanting it, I worry I will get a tough one, as I heard from someone that I recommended that supper club we went to a few months ago, and they went, someone in their party got a tough steak. I was so shocked, as I do love that place, and felt bad that I recommended it. I learned a lesson there! But yes, that is the chance you take with ordering steak.
Do you think DGS was a bit scared to sing, with seeing all the people there?
Sunday will be a good time to travel, very smart of you all to plan that for then.
Oh geez, you were having rain. Are you getting more so than usual, too?
Anngie, yes good thing we did not get the tornado, but as I mentioned, there was the typical trees damage, things like that, since the wind was pretty high.
I am sorry for the person that had another stroke. My goodness, very strange they had not put her(?) on thinners already.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!! 48 years!!! Holy cow!!! You don't seem that old!! We were able to reach 47, and to this day, I feel that old, lol!!! Just think, 2-TWO years to 50!!!!! Will you do something very special for that one?
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL till Tuesday!!!!!! To tell the truth though, the kids have been in such a goofy mood this week, it has been fun, even though I have been mostly the only monitor for most of the lunches.
