Karen, thanks for the start. Hope you have a good day for driving and Osteo.
Chele, so sorry you caught something and hope it doesn't last long. Take care. We're supposed to be getting close to 100° outside this weekend. Ugh!
Linda, hope there is less pain today. I don't think Florida can take anymore "freedom"!

My post disappeared. Have to use phone as internet has been down 7 hour with no explanation except we are working on it. Life has settled in to pain, exercise, nausea and having to eat then pills with games and internet and streaming tv Today no internet 😩 The tramadol is lot less effective than morphine concentrated to 8x usual strength Getting used to that is not easy. Especially looking ahead to more exercises and continuing pain and being unable to do stuff

Linda, your YOUNGER brother seems to have a lot of orthopedic issues you don't have. How many are from his career in EMS and how many are genetics that you share? When he gets all those problems corrected, he's going to be the bionic man. I remember being with DB and the nieces and nephews when DSIL passed. DB is 7 years younger than I am and his kids are in their 30s to mid 40s and I thought I had a good chance of outliving all of them. That's sad. Are you gaining strength and getting into more of a routine with the PT and pedal machine? Good that you have the phone's hotspot as a back up. I hope it's back up and running by now. Will the doctor give you permission to take the Tramadol more often if you're having breakthrough pain? What did you find out from the PA about the TENS unit.
Kathy, I agree that your state can't take much more "freedom", unless it's freedom from lunatic legislators. Oh, no on the 100s getting close. That's not a good thing. Fortunately, we are only predicted to be in the 70s and 80s. Tonight's Elsbeth is the season finale.
What in the world did you get into, Chele? That sounds like a virus more than allergies. I hope you're feeling much better soon. I'm guessing you rescheduled today's PT appointment. I wonder if you picked up something at your previous PT appointment.
It was a run-run-run kind of day for me. Osteo was first, followed by a stop at the Asian market (more on that in a minute), the little shop where I get my curcumin pain supplement, Hobby Lobby, Trader Joe's, Publix, and, finally, the gym. When I got home, I had all those groceries to put away. We are very well stocked now. The Asian market is probably 35K sq ft. They have an entire department of rice, 3 different sections of sauces, and a massive produce aisle. I was so excited to find Natto, a fermented Japanese product that is very high in Vitamin K and several other nutrients. I've always read that it's an acquired taste and lots of people don't like it, but I thought it tasted like horseradish without the heat. I like it and am glad I can now find it. I got Dale a variety of Asian sauces--Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Thai. I found both oyster and enoki mushrooms and haven't seen either for years. Now I need to look up my recipes for those. I also found square rice papers, so I need to figure out how to roll those so I can make spring rolls this weekend. I also found dried soybeans, sushi rice, and sushi vinegar. Off to find some recipes. Anybody got plans for the holiday weekend?

Wow, Karen, what a lot of groceries! You must have been a blur,
There are a lot of virus things going around the nE. Dsil the elder has the stomach one as did her son two weeks ago and other dsil week before.
well, finally took a shower with leg wrapped in plastic wrap and duct tape. Not to steady getting in and out, but the potty chair without the potty part makes a stable shower chair. the hand held part detached from its normal high holder turned into a snake head when water turned on. Got that into a suction cup wall holder. It is really hard to wash in a chair and control the flow. I think that was a record short shower and sink bath looks better. Leg is mad.
med is kicking in,,,I am conking out!
